Can he be saved? Or have they fe gods forsaken me!

He's, in my opinion, a pretty bad unit. He has a RED tome that has effective damage against Cavalry units... We don't have that many red tome users, and it seems like less people are using cavalry thanks to Micaiah + Trench maps.

His attack stat isn't too bad, same with speed and resistance, but he takes a lot of investment to be made viable.

Not to mention his art is pretty...disgusting in my opinion. That's one reason I don't use units like Jagen, Eliwood, Gunter, Ogma, etc..

With the right amount of dedication, any unit can be reasonably useful, others more than some. If he has a +SPD nature, he can run an owl tome build and hit 40 speed. But if he runs +ATK, then a blade tome is very strong with that many merges. He could get to 50 ATK at max merge. Or a raven TA build on anything else wouldn’t be bad. But if he’s -ATK then he could be hard pressed to salvage.

Haha I've done the same with all the Raighs I've gotten just for the meme.
He isnt really useful without heavy investment (which even then would be better suited to a different more viable unit)
To most people I know, he is just Feather Fodder lol!

Honestly speaking, Raigh's stat spread is too balanced to really be anything useful. That said, putting him to 4 stars +10 will at least make him be a serviceable anti-cavalry mage in arena assault if you're running low on units.

At least his tome can be good fodder as well, if anything.

If your willing to use feathers on him, his tome is better used on another unit since he is too balanced, lilina and sophia can probably make better use of it than him.
The only use i can think of is a budget red mage if you really dont have anything else
