Can Fjorm perform well with a Speed bane?

It's not like I have one but in my opinion it's a good bane on her. Most of her optimal builds are for tanking and I think she'd rather take more hits than avoiding them. At the minimum, even her base kit+QR seal is enough, but if you want to block follow-ups barring Brave Bows and Dire Thunder, Steady Breath might be a good choice (meaning you block 2 attacks). It also has the benefit of not being a superbane and keeps all her other stats.

IMO neutral is her best IV.
Fjorm is one of the few units that works best with a neutral IV.

but I still agree taht she will still perform well with a -spd since she has a balanced statline and any role she will do she will perform well.

I have a +atk -spd Fjorm and in the very rare case I actually use her (I almost never do), I'm actually quite happy with the bane. I use her with QR as well and her speed isn't the best in the first place so I don't mind the bane. I could imagine -hp would be a bit better though.

Fjorm has too many stat points and too much balance to become useless with any bane. I'd say atk is probably her worst bane because she doesn't hit very hard to begin with, but it's still enough against squishy mages. Def is also a bad bane because it's perhaps her greatest vulnerability, but even with a def bane she's not actually that weak taking physical attacks and she'll become even stronger of a mage tank due to points that get shifted into other stats.

I don't like a spd bane on Fjorm, but frankly I think this one is a matter of taste. I think her spd sits in a place where she can very well push it to avoid doubles (Lu Bu's +10 Fjorm has, like, 44 spd I think? boon IV, merges, fury, and seal, plus sometimes he'll go for spd ploy), and that's my style, if you've noticed my posts about my Nowi. However, she is sufficiently tanky that she can probably afford to get doubled; my only concern would be her lower HP. In any case, spd-dumping tanks definitely need to bunker down and prepare to absorb multiple blows.

Take note that in higher levels of arena, speed is useless on enemy phase units. Armored units with Bold Fighter and both Ephraims are examples. This is the situation I'm usually prepared for. My Nowi+10 is +Def -Spd and is always ready to fight these units (she has Guard). If you really don't intend to get ready for this, then my case isn't the concern.

She's very flexible with her roles so it really depends what you want her to do. It's not her worst bane since her Speed wasn't too high to begin with. I'd aim for neutral if possible, but aside from the usual HP, it's probably her "best" dump stat.
