It seems I'm destined to be drowning Boeys.
I've pulled no less than 4 5* c**kblock pitybreakers, and foddered most of them off. I've now got 2 5* and 3 4* Boeys with 60k feathers.
Is IS trying to tell me something? If I embrace my boeyhood, is there any way to make him good? I've yet to see any convincing ideas for him, but feel free to pitch them to me!

Gronnraven+ and TA is probably the most viable set for him and he does very well with it, dealing with most archers and blue mages fairly well. a +Atk -HP is what you want to be looking for since he still needs every bit of res he can get.
Gronnowl+ is still a good weapon as well, but takes some effort to utilize.
Eh, Boey shouldn't necessarily be fighting mages because his res is so low, so while it's nice to have in case he gets within range, it's definitely one of those stats that you can "throw away" if the only Boey you have is a -Res.
One could argue that a -Res Boey is better than -HP
He's more of a Close Counter type of character. He has 35 defense with a Defense boon, so he can tank some lances and axes to the face and not have to worry too much, but that's about it. His attack isn't high, getting only about 32 with a +Attack boon, so all of his damage will be coming from Ignis/Bonfire triggers, sorta like Felicia and Glacies/Iceberg.
He just requires a lot of investment to use effectively. I wouldn't invest in a Boey unless you're giving him Close Counter.
