Camus worth the merges?

Fun fact! Only one unit in the game has the skill Grani's shield and its camus... I have 1 5 star level 40 camus because collection and he's useful if I need blue horse DC, but I kinda want to spread the free goad and shield a skill to units like Xander and Sigurd for PvE content against anticalvary, thoughts? Camus +4 carry anyone so hard that I should keep it or is it safe to fodder?

"If you like the unit, then go ahead and merge."

Also, I dunno if many units aside from PvE units really use "anti-cavalry" weapons aside from the rare ones here and there, and, depending on your play style, Goad Cavalry isn't really necessary.

on top of that, because of all the new maps being heavy in forests and trenches, it's harder for horse emblem teams to be a bit more spread out so they tend to be more clumped together. bc of that, hones n fortifies are the way to go.

camus isn't very good for skill fodder but he is good for merging because he has a prf dc weapon

Grani’s Shield really isn’t necessary. If you see a unit running an anti-horse weapon in PvP, unless you’re not in AA, you can easily work around it. In PvE, you can plan ahead of time.

Goad cavalry is nice, but again unnecessary. I usually use hone/fortify cav because of the higher buffs/easy access, and with you controlling your units, you can align them however you need to maximize the buff coverage.

Camus is also very good as a unit. So I would say use him to your liking, because he’s a versatile lance cavalry capable of doing many things.
