Why the salt? Sure, the price is high, but did you all really expect them to drop the price for 140 orbs by alot simply cause it's new years?

Mathematically, they're good. Just plain and simple. 75 dollars is pricey, yes. But for anyone who's bought orbs before (or anybody who's saved orbs) know show finnicky orbs themselves can be, and how even 400 can net you jack shit. This is quite a deal since it's an assured 5 star, a bow flier with one of the best offensive stats (35/35), and a great cav healer (though this category can be filled by any F2P cav healer so I digress).

However, as noted, the price is quite steep. This is the equivalent to buying a 75 dollar orb pack for, let's say the RD banner (this lasts 30 days so it'll be around by then), then this would be worth it. But realistically, not everyone will be able to buy it, for obvious reason.

In other words. Why are people annoyed? Genuinely curious as to why. If it's because of the price. It's a gaccha, not to mention that I wouldn't be surprised at this.
If it's the fact that they didn't pick a lower tier for the orbs, sure, I suppose that's a valid reason to be annoyed.

It is indeed good value but as some have stated, they would rather pay less for less (i.e. lower price for less orbs/bonuses).

If it was a free unit with minimal resources for $5 (or the foreign equivalent) they'd easily make their expected sales from the $75 one.

I mean, I never spend money on any mobile game, but I gave up $4 for the Black Knight starter pack because of the free hero alone.

I suppose so. I guess they went for the super bundle opposed to the smaller one.

imo they'd be making more off the smaller bundle that costs less because more people would buy it as opposed to the bigger bundle that costs more because fewer will buy.

It's a gamble. I'm sure people will buy the bundle but in less numbers.

Sure I guess. Even then, some people just won't spend a dime in the end anyway. It really comes down to the line here. We know there's people who will more than likely buy the bundle. It takes an entire month for it to go away, and if the RD banner is as good as some people think it'll be, when it comes for the time to buy that shit'll stare you in the face. Some may snap, others won't

That being said, if they allowed you to pick between the 4 characters, then yeah this would be much harder for alot of people to resist.

Why? It doesn't matter if it's a good deal. It's right after the holidays, people are broke( or at least I am). It's split into two. It's high tier. Selling brand new units. Looks dirty compared to Black Knight sale yea.

Everyone can spare 5 bucks every now and then but there is no way I can part with 75/150 bucks. That's a week's worth of groceries.

IS should throw some real deals out for players that have stuck with the game this long. I doubt they get many newcomers with how convoluted the game has become. It must look off-putting.

Actually, there's a fair few number of newcomers from what I've heard. You can spot em all around the forums (Reddit, Serenes) asking for advice because they unlocked everything and need to get pointers, but sure.

And these are "real deals". A 5 star could cost you upwards of 500 dollars. Is this pricey, yeah. But mathematically it's good, that's all I'm sayin. No reason to call em bad or not actual deals when in reality you're avoiding pulling and getting jack diddly squat.
