Builds for Sigurd?

Got any creative builds for Sigurd? I'm kinda tired of always seeing QR3 and DC and I don't have extra Hectors tbh...
Do you think Darting stance could work with him? Idk just tell me what you got

It really depents on his IV

I also really struggle to find creative builds for him, but there might be a way.
Get swift sparrow, fury or L&D on him, in that order of usefulness. If he's +spd, you could give him the Aether+heavy blade seal combo otherwise a lower CD special with speed+3 might work

Yeah well my Sigurd ivs arent very nice.... +hp -def
But I like him and I wanna use him more.
There is this build idea of wo dao+ (def or spd?) With moonbow and brazen atk and spd in the A slot and spd +3 seal so he is fast, attacks hard and isnt that squeezy... bc with L&D is kinda sad to throw all that def dont u think? And with hp+ends up with 49 hp
But idk what to give in b slot and i guess spd smoke is nice to double

Sigurd works similar to Fjorm, you can either run his default kit with QR Seal + Aether/Bonfire for a defensive set or go with Life and Death + Desperation on a +Spd IV.

Close Defence + QR or Life and Death + Desperation allows Sigurd to duel melee ranged whilst Divine Tyrfing and/or Crusader's Ward protects him from ranged attacks.
If you really want, you can maybe try running him with Heavy Blade in the A-Slot instead of Close Defence for more offensive potential (assuming you're sigurd needs QR to double).

Hope this somewhat helps.

The idea behind a non-DC Sigurd is to build him purely as a melee ranged bruiser, because that's what his stats are made for, and utilise his Divine Tyrfing and/or Crusader's Ward as a secondary effect to prevent otherwise would be KOs from mages. That's what makes Sigurd one of the most durable units in the game.

To answer your question more directly however, there is absolutely no reason to focus on his ability to counter ranged units unless he has access to DC, meaning you should 100% focus on his melee match ups. Having said that though, I would not recommend removing Divine Tyrfing as it's the very thing that seperates Sigurd from the other Sword Cavalry, but that's just my opinion.

I run him with DC and distant defense seal. That way, my Sigurd becomes an anti-ranged unit and still very useful in close quarters with his high defense. For what I have been playing with him, the builds he can run are (always with Divine Tyrfing, amazing weapon):

- CD6 Bonfire QR. Receive no damage and destroy the enemy. Beware of ranged units.
- DC QR Distant/Close defense. Be careful of Reinhardt.
- DC DD Crusader's Ward. The terror of ranged units.

I use the third one with Aether. It was for arena scoring purposes but it has become amazing even without a heavy blade seal, it makes PvE content much bearable with a tank which hits hard and heals himself. I gave him summoner support (since he is my favourite) and he carries me through the arena well also.

That´s so cool! but one question I have... doesn´t the third build the Crusader´s Ward only work with ranged brave weapons? bc DC goes in between the hits, Is it worth it to keep the CW?
btw do u have merges on him and what ivs

Actually it works nicely with crusader's ward and gets Reinhardt and those desperation bladetomes out of the game, which are a threat to Sigurd. Without it he dies on the second hit with or without the special activation. Other way you can try it is using vantage and deflect magic SS.

I have him with +Hp -Res, I am hoping for a +Atk but none of my 5 Sigurds have been that (but 2 of them were -Atk). So he is +5 and still looking for a perfect IV. Also summoner supported of course, he is the star of my game.
