Building a -atk +def L!Ephraim

So I had this one for a while and never put too much thought into a build for him.

I think the -atk isn't THAT bad because he still has a high attack stat but of course this probably rules out heavy blade/galeforce sets so I wanted to use a more defensive set

I wanna keep his weapon tho since I like keeping the uniqueness of these special heroes!
I currently have

Flaming Siegmund
Reposition
Sol
Sturdy Stance
Solar Brace
A buff skill
Quick Riposte

Are there any changes I could make to this build? And what are good choices for teammates?

I really want to use Summer Innes alongside him so help with that would be appreciated

My arena team for this season is Summer Innes, Bride Ninian , Winter Tharja and L!Ephraim by the way :)

I'm not sure that the Quick Riposte seal would help much since his weapon already accomplishes that when positioned right. 36 Def is enough that you could run him with Bonfire and still get healing from Solar Brace. Or just take out Solar Brace altogether and use Renewal or Vantage. I'd also recommend Atk Smoke for his C-skill since he's normally positioned in a way that he doesn't give/get buffs easily. Atk Smoke helps him tank a bit better, especially with his Def boon.

The two builds of L.Ephraim I've seen which I find most convincing are the galeforce prf build and the slaying lance DC noontime tank build. The second one works poorly with -atk because he can't even get some help from his A-skill and it's imperative that he hit as hard as he can in that build.

Counterintuitively, -atk is fine for the galeforce build. Take death blow, and apply hone cavalry (or even just hone atk) to him if necessary. Without the buff he's at 58 atk; with hone atk he has 62, and with hone cavalry he has 64. Those are all values where I would expect to trigger heavy blade most of the time. In fact, I say that you don't want to push his atk TOO high because he'll kill his target before he can double and fail to activate galeforce.
