Build for Innes with bad IVs?

The performing hero banner hates me. I just want one of the dancers, I don't even care which. Instead, the only 5* units I've gotten have been +spd -atk Roderick, and as of today, +def -atk Innes. Ouch. But I'd actually been wishing for a high-res ranged physical attacker, and even with those IVs he's leagues better than Niles. And his bow is really cool. Is he salvageable, and if so, how?

I just use his default kit and break him out for TT and some Chain Challenge/SQ maps. He's perfectly fine in that role as a res tank. Once his special procs it tends to make up for the damage output anyway.

BTW Mine is -Atk/+HP.

well even with those terrible IV's he still has higher attack than the other high res ranged physcial attackers, but his res is a bit low compared to them.

So it's bit of a trade off, because someone like felicia has insane speed and res, but low attack, basically a better niles. Though felicia's low attack is off set by her targets also having really low average def and being a dagger user, she debuffs def/res and she kills even non-mage targets with glacies charged.

But your Innes still has 30 atk and a high attack weapon with the owl tome effect. Which will still give him respectable damage, but you'll probably feel it be a little subpar as you use it. Mostly on higher def non-mage targets, since those are pretty awful IV's.

Fury would still be your best bet still to raise his atk/spd/res to synergize with his weapon and his main role. Threaten def would probably help his lower attack situation. Def ploy would be even better assuming they ever add it to a non-limited unit.

Basically stuff that he would use normally, since its still the thing he does better than most other physical ranged units even with bad IVs. Unless he was -res then you would probably just build him like a more typical glass cannon archer.
