Breath Breaker?

Would it make sense or be too over powered for their to be a “Breath Breaker” like Sword Breaker, Axe Breaker and Lance Breaker? Would that help effectively quash the dragons some, or is it just a hopeless endeavor?

I would like to see a skill similar to that be implemented into the game sometime. (Also, a Staffbreaker skill would be nice.)

IS might as well finish making -Breaker skills for the rest of the weapon types.

Well, Swordbreaker, Lancebreaker, and Axebreaker were actual skills in the main Fire Emblem games.

I don't recall (could be wrong about this) being a "Breathbreaker" ability in any of the Fire Emblem games, or at least none that I've played. The 'closest' that comes to that is probably Falchions, Wyrmslayers, etc.

There was never really a “Breath Breaker”, but I figured it might be nice to handle some dragons for units who are prone to getting slammed by dragons that could do well otherwise. I do think IS has released skills that haven’t been in FE games (that I remember), so I figure it wouldn’t be too far off.

Maybe there's only a few individual units per color, but that doesn't really make a difference. You can still come across dragons pretty frequently. If anything, it makes it easier to predict which color breaker would be the most useful.

Yeah, there aren't that many Dragon units, but they should still break it down into colors. If they make a general "Breath Breaker" that covers ALL dragons, and make even more dragons down the line (waiting for that eventual Bantu, make it happen, IS) then...?

It's for not only the present, but the future. Don't think they can make a "Breath Breaker" and then completely delete the skill later on to make Red/Blue/Green Breath Breaker and whatnot.

If they did it, it would have to be broken down into colors like the tomebreakers. I feel like it's not even all that necessary tbh, a lot dragons are pretty easy to deal with in arena since the AI is kind of trashy and predictable and they're all built pretty similarly.

I was hoping that "breath breaker" would be Marth's weapon refine.

I think it would be a bit strong as a B-skill on some units (since dragon is a 'class', they could also bring about armor breaker, flying breaker, etc. and that could cause major meta swings) but it could be pretty fairly balanced if it were an effect on a unique weapon.
