Brazen Def/Res on Fallen Robin Y/N

So I'm going to have my +Atk -Spd Fallen Robin on my Arena Defense team, with a Zelgius and a Nowi. Right now, I'm going to give him Aether, Swap, Armor March, and the Distant Def 3 seal, with his natural Expiration and Vengeful Fighter 3.

But what's better for his A-Slot? Fortress Def 3, or Brazen Def/Res 3? The other options are either too expensive, or enemy-phase, which isn't as reliable for Arena Defense imo.

On one hand, Fortress Def 3 lowers my attack to 57, but gives a flat defense boost up to 40. That means it'll be reliably in effect every Arena Defense match.

On the other hand, Brazen Def/Res is undeniably stronger boosting-wise. However, it requires under 80% health for activation, and I'm worried it wouldn't get activated enough during arena play to be worthwhile. Thoughts?

Well, Brazen Def/Res is a great skill and if u really don't have any unit that wants it more than him, then go for it. It's an undeniably strong skill, and if u fight lets say, a green unit that can just damage you enough, you'll be pretty hard to kill later on. That being said, if you ever get access to Bold Fighter, Grima prefers it over Vengeful Fighter since he will likely OHKO most units out of pure damage. So Id go with Brazen Def/Res in short, nets you the best defense if you plan accordingly.

brazen def/res is really good for him especially because he has DC by default in his weapon. you might want to switch out aether outside of arena so you can keep it active tho, otherwise you're pretty much golden
