(Brave) Roy is good....? Maybe even 2nd best?

Am I missing something because tbh Roy & lyn seem the best to me....?
==============================================
Roy under just hone and fortify reaches
38 hp
(Fury-41) 38 atk (60-57 with weapon)
(Fury-43) 40 spd
(Fury-35) 32 def
(Fury-33) 30 res
This seems terrific because you get a fantastic charge cooldown on every hit with pretty good attack not counting goads.
With the new steady stance a skill he basically gets +4 def and 2 heavy blades on him when attacked
==============================================
personally I would like to see roy have 2 more defense and speed to have 158 bts but he is still amazing, right??....... scratch that, instead of the atk+3 I would like to see a built in fury3 B)

Lyn>Roy>Lucina>Ike

This is how I feel about the order so far >///<

Roy is legitimately the best one here after Lyn as far as I'm concerned even without cavalry emblem. In fact he surpasses Lyn if you subtract cavalry buff potential as he is the strongest standalone unit thanks to his kit and weapon.

I keep preaching this and people keep sleeping on our boy here and wanting Ike who seems to be quite lackluster in his job imo.

After the failed free summon into female voting gauntlet I dropped 13 orbs. Lon'que, Raigh, and then by sheer luck I scored Lyn like I wanted (+Atk/-res) so it can happen man. There's also the daily quest orbs and arena orbs for another week or two you can earn and if you haven't done them yet chain challenges are a great orb source I am finally dipping into grinding for this event.

Pros:+ In offense gameplay right used strongest atk Hero possible over 62atk+ and 45spd with right build and 1 hone cav buff
+ right used killing atleast 2 heroes in one turn without Dance/Sing !!!!

Contra+
-Less Bst of all Brave overall Bst like normal Cav fighter
-Will Score because of that low in Arena Raning

I feel like the order from best to worst is:
Ike>Lucina>Lyn>Roy
However that's an opinion and I csnt really say one is better than the other as they occupy different roles. Lucina is a duelist who buffs nearby allies, the spur version of Ephraim. Ike is counter to meta of flier and horse emblem. Lyn is probably a game changer since first cav archer and all and kinda powercreeps Bridelia. Roy is umm weapon is ok. Stats are average tho just like Regular Roy.

As someone mentioned in another post, his weapon doesn't seem to function exactly like Heavy Blade 3 as it doesn't mention "per attack". This game is known for it's awkward writing though, so it's possible it still functions the same. But if not, I think that will hurt him (if only slightly).

I think Roy is like the cavalry Amelia. Is he subpar, no, he's arguably the best cavalry unit next to Lyn, and has far more flexibility compared to full nuker Reinhardt. The guy has offensive bases equivalent to a +Spd Ike and access to Cavalry buffs.

The problem is when you have Lyn, who is on the end of the offensive spectrum, who can also run a defensive build and counter meta. Then Ike who is on the end if the defensive spectrum, who has no weaknesses except mages depending on how you build him, and can also run full anti meta. Both with exceptional base kits, great stats, and I believe exclusive skills. It's very hard to rank any other hero with these two.

Lucina is special case, other than stats, she doesn't actually have much in terms of strengths. But, her +9 offensive stat buff, within 2 spaces, and can't be Panicked or, I believe, countered by Lyn and Ike is honestly more powerful than how it was probably planned out to be.

I think Roy is like a mountain in the shadow of more mountains. He feels more like the best powerhouse unit rather than a game/meta defining unit like the others since arena AI will have a harder time abusing him relative to the other three.

For the sake of the topic, I'll have to say Lyn>Ike>Lucina>Roy.

Forget Ninian, Brave Roy is what would happen if Eliwood and Coredelia had a child...then pumped it full of steroids. I think he's being dramatically overlooked but, then again, I'd say the same of Eliwood. He has immense sweeping potential - with dancer support he could take out most of an enemy team in one round. This might motivate people to run blue units that aren't squishy mages.

I have to agree that Brave Roy will be the new king of sword lords, surpassing my dear Eldigan. I will pull one copy of him just to admire. Eldigan is still too handsome to be ignored.

Cant really say i agree.
Roy seems good enough, problem is the rest of the brave cast is just TOO good.

Lyn overshadows him by far, Ike got that sweet A skill together with his killer weapon bonus on urvis, and even lucina, whos skills arent that impressive and is outdone by those 2, gets her own niche being a buff machine that cant be countered either by panic skills or the new "ignore buffs" skills on ike and lyn.

Again, roy is good, kinda like 4.5/5 good, but the other three are definitely 5/5, so he ends up getting overlooked.

1) roy doesn't have steady stance, ike does
2) he is very good and maybe one of the best red calvary units but competes with xander who has DC
3) Ike's new skill counteracts horse and flier emblem which makes him a better unit in general because it's something roy could never have. He also has steady stance which lowers his cooldown more efficiently than blazing durandal
4) lucina is considered better than roy by a lot of people because she is a very good support unit with high speed.
5) Personally, i think Roy is a fantastic unit just not as mind blowing as the others
