Brave Lucina woes
The legendary banner started me off with a free Blade Reinhardt, followed by a Brave Lucina, who I never had before. Both are +def -spd. Great for Rein, who now has my old one merged into him. Not great for Lucina.
I'm struggling to figure out what to do with her when I got other infantry lances: Nephenee (can fell armors with her new lance)...Fjorm (DC lance + mixed defs)...Shiro (Tactic + enemy phase)...OG Ephraim (rallybot)...Sharena (general purpose)...Lukas (physical wall)...
Right now, I'm at a loss. It's great to have a tri-drive unit, though it's a bit restricted, ally weapon types considered. With -spd, I may have to relegate her to support. I do have a QR on hand for her; anything else?

It can be good, especially on units with poor speed, since it means they can fully charge specials like DA, Bonfire, and Iceberg and use them on enemy phase. The problem is Lucina's 33 Spd bane isn't quite low enough to take full advantage of it; Lucina's speed problem isn't that units are doubling her, its that she won't be able to double units, which has far more numerous and cheaper solutions than just "lol just use QR3"

If you're content to let her play less of a front-line role, yes QR is an idea. Swordbreaker is also good. Swords get stupidly fast nowadays, and you can just throw the whole issue out the window and they can't do a thing about it. I like +def on her because I have +spd -HP and I actually find her def marginal. She has trouble taking two hits. If she didn't have -HP it would be slightly better but +def really helps shore it up.
