Brave Lucina or Lukas, Black knight for Steady Breath user?
I want to know which unit would make better use of steady breath. Each unit will kind of be used in different ways tho so i wanted to get any insight into which, in your opinion has the most value for the investment.
Lukas: Enemy phase NUKE and insane tank. His defense and burst enemy phase damage seem incredibly interesting and fun for arena. But at the cost of 20k feathers. Which isn't that hard to farm up but i have a couple units i've considered foddering off brave weapons to and could use the promotion to + weapons.
Lucina: From experience she's pretty good at poking, enemy phase, or being offense. So she's the all rounder that kind of fits on any team with offensive units. which i really enjoy.
Black knight: Considering putting him on an armor team with hector, effie and amelia. Also primarily using him as an incredibly tanky and offensive sword unit. (although i do have a neutral IV ike that currently fits this role similarly but with less bulk)
Resources:
50k Feathers
4*+Atk/-res Lukas
5* +atk/-res Brave Lucina
Black knight should come @ 5* from Tempest trials
I was thinking of running on lukas:
Killer lance+
Steady Breath
quick riposte
C
Bonfire
almost always procs bonfire on the enemy phase which is great and gives him added attack dmg that he needs.
Brave Lucina set:
Gierskogul
Steady Breath
Lancebreaker 3 /Renewal 3 once i have fodder
Drive Spd
Aether
and Finally Black knight:
Alondite
Steady breath
WoM3 to make him mobile
threaten speed
Black Luna
Black luna as a 2 turn cooldown is insane but feels a little inefficient to inherit steady breath when he comes with steady stance 3. Different skills but similar enough that Black Knight will probably still be great without it.
ANY help is greatly appreciated. Wanted to bounce these ideas off of someone and get some insight, especially if someone has used these units with these skills, etc.

Considering knights/cavs/fliers are really strong I would suggest probably running the black knight with that hector/effie. Your 4th could be a buff support knight.
Looking at the black knight's stats he's going to be pretty strong. I would probably think that zephiel is still better, but the black knight will still be strong.
Not to mention they should give you a 4* as well so you can merge and make Black Knight a +1

I'd say BK or Lukas.
BLucina could be a great user for it if you didn't have the other two, but she runs Fury 3/Swift Sparrow or something just as well, and trying to turn her into an enemy phase tank might be spreading her roles a bit thin considering she can already fill the role of support unit and sweeper extremely well. You'll probably find yourself in situations, especially without a +spd nature, that that extra 3-4 speed could have helped immensely.
And most of all, I'm of the mind that people should try to build as diverse a catalog of great units as possible, rather than making 1 or 2 God Tier teams. Lukas is the one who is elevated the most with SB, especially with good IVs like the one you've got. That said, so is Black Knight... I'd say it's between the two of them, but dilemmas like this are why I went out of my way to get 3 BIkes from the CYL banner (1 to use, 2 for SI). I'll definitely give it to BK when I get him, and at this point I'm probably going to grind SP for Lukas and wait until we see the Halloween/FE4 units before feeding him my last BIke (I already gave him a Brave Lance+ before the unveiling of the CYL units, so in the worst case I'll just try to get 1 more DB3 fodder and optimize him in that role, as he's +atk -hp).

I recommend that you make your Black Knight Steady Stance, QR2/3, and then run either Black Luna or Aether for arena offense, but just Black Luna for arena defense. Quickened Pulse with the Black Luna set on defense basically says "if you touch me and don't one-shot me, you is dead." Which is helped by Ward Armor on armor emblem teams, since he becomes hard to kill.

It solely depends on who you want to use the most.
Lukas only has one option without Steady Breath, and that's to be a wall, so he would enjoy having it the most.
For his build, I would recommend +Def/-Res and replace Killer with Slaying when you can.
Black Knight is probably the single best best candidate for Steady Breath due to his speed and access to DC and Black Luna (and the free Aether you'll get with Steady Breath), but he does have the problem of only having 1 movement unless he has another Armoured unit to support him or a bulky, mobile team to help him make use of WoM, which makes him the least flexible of the three and extremely hard to fit onto a team not built around him.
Lucina can be ran on multiple teams and is the most flexible, making her an amazing candidate, but she can also run a multitude of other skills that also work just as well as Steady Breath so she doesn't really want it as much as BK or need it as much as Lukas.
As for her build, I would say she wants +Def, +Spd/-Res, -HP. And I would actually recommend to use her speed as a way to avoid doubles and run QR to guarantee doubles with Ignis so she can proc it every engagement. The other option is to run Wrath and Aether for a safety net build allowing her to heal up whenever she gets low.
Hope this has helped you in your decision.
