Brave Lance+ Effie with Heavy Blade and Galeforce?

Not asking if it's necessarily the most optimal build, but I have a 4* -res +atk Effie who's served me since week one and I'm not sure what to do if I upgrade her, I'd like to do something more unique.

I can easily use Virion and Cordelia (though I'd have to promote her too) to give her both Brave Lance+ and Galeforce at once.

Thank you for the feedback.

P.S.: I also have two very bad 5* Effies to feed her after promotion.

It's a cute idea and could work in theory, but I'm kind of afraid of her movement limitations. If you would run her in an armor march team it would be actually good. Without it you could sometimes score multiple kills or just escape after attacking with pivot which is also valuable.

Thank you for your quick response.

I do have a spare Amelia (+ one I'm not gonna use because she doesn't have very good IVs, but I'd like to keep her to merge her with a better one at some point), but I really can't decide who to teach Armor March, I intended to wait until getting Black Knight and maybe teach it to him.

I had another Amelia, but I used her to optimize my Sheena with her axe, I did get to teach her Armor March 1, which is better than nothing.

Effie has the highest base attack in the game, but that fact is offset by the Brave line of weapons having low might. Without an extra boost like Goad Armor (Hone Armor could work if you feed Amelia into Effie for your Armor March needs), your Effie 'only' hits 52 attack with an attack seal and misses Heavy Blade threshold against many legendary weapon holders even if they're also unbuffed and many more targets with hone or fury applied. Additionally, since you are giving up your Death Blow 3 in exchange, there will be an increase in fights your Effie can't finish in one round. I find my own Effie often appreciates the extra push of her A slot, especially against blue units like Ephraim who can take a physical blow.

... It's hard to use that skill, isn't it?

It's not really that it's hard to give it use, but since using Ikes as fodder is a bit rare, I don't want to give it to someone who's not gonna use it in the end.

I've only taught it to my pseudo-healer Lucina (my first 5* on my second pull, she's +5 by now) with Aether, Renewal and Reciprocal Aid and I don't regret it, even though she's not +atk, at least for now; she's very hard to kill in melee duels with her +def and she tends to trigger HB consistently even if she may need an attack buff sometimes.
