Brave Ike or Hector?

I have a +Atk/-Def Hector and a +Atk/-HP Brave Ike. Should I keep both or sacrifice Hector to Ike for Distant Counter?

Personally, if I only had one Hector I wouldn't sacrifice it for anyone. He has a great BST, an incredible stat-line, and one of the best legendary weapons in the game. Plus, he's got that winning personality.

But to add some mechanics into the mix... Only if you're running Brave Ike with Vantage. Otherwise being able to counterattack will interrupt Urvan's protective effect and cause the follow-up to deal full damage.

Also, Hector has a second exclusive skill - Goad Armor - which Brave Ike cannot inherit. So take that into account.

Brave Ike and Hector are the two best axe wielders, are two of the 3 best greens and two of the 10 best characters in the game.
Why in the world are you thinking of sacrificing one???
This game has been shifting slowly towards needing a large stable of characters in order to compete. You'll need as many good heroes as you can get.
