Brave Ike merging

I pulled 2 Brave Ikes during the Brave summoning. One is neutral with a physical tank build, the other is +spd -res, not built up. Does it matter which one is the Enhanced Ike? Thx.

It doesn't matter. Merging is essentially a fusion of the two units.
The only things that you get to "lose" is the SP of the unit being merged (even support affinity transfers).
So basically, all you get to choose is :
The IV you want to keep between the 2 units
The SP of the unit being merged
The LV ot the unit being merged (if you merge a lv40 unit into a lv1, it will become a lv1+1).

Thanks for the details. It's kind of what I suspected, but wanted to be sure before I did anything.

Keep the neutral Ike. Losing 3 res to get 3 speed isn't worth it for him.
Also, don't merge. Save the +spd copy for steady breath/aether fodder. With the Black knight coming out soon, he'd be perfect to receive both of those skills.

That's a good point, I hadn't thought of saving that copy of him for Black Knight - will definitely keep that in mind. Thanks.
