Brash/Desp Rein???

Okay, so I was reviewing candidates for BrashDesp, and I remembered that BrashDesp can actually be done on ALL units, and that includes cavalry.

With Reciprocal Aid, getting down to 50% health can be done easily in one turn.

With BrashDesp, he can proc Luna in a single engagement.

Oops.

Luckily I still have my Fae.

Getting into tier 20 isn’t much of an issue anymore (I broke into tier 20 as F2P with a flier emblem team) but I learned quickly that staying there is difficult. The last time I did hit tier 20 (first week of the season with winter units), I had a score exceeding 4950 and I was dropped to tier 19 since every team staying in tier 20 probably used super merged winter armor teams and other stalwart teams in T20. Any other teams fighting T20 caliber players needs to have ridiculous synergy, otherwise they get slaughtered by the heavy amount of Brave Lyn, Reinhardt, and super merged Nino or armor/dragon hybrid teams.

I never really got on board with dragon teams. I like using totally hodgepodge teams more often than anything else (it is not common for me to run teams that just make absolutely no sense on paper, but look brilliant in arena play) because you catch so many people off guard that way.

It is a viable build against ranged units (and DC users) since brash assault does say that the target has to be able to counterattack. You just have to be able to have a unit take heavy damage first and then get them out of range (escape route on your victim to put them next to Reinhardt is not a bad idea here) so you can put him within activation range for both desperation and brash assault. I may field test this and see how well it works.

I've used it as a staple for my Sanaki and pseudo quad Faye these Trials. Since Sanaki won't realistically double, it actually made her very fierce with a Blade tome (helps that you can counter characters with DC, such as Ike & Ryoma).

While the build itself isn't as efficient as the db3 one, I do think that's a fun build, you can go for it if you want :v

Heh. Well, tell you what I've come to enjoy. Heavy Blade Dragon Fang. He actually killed a Fae with it. A FAE, and she was full health!

The heavy blade seal has opened many a door. I put the seal on my Michalis, and when I forget to change out his c slot (he has both threaten def 3 and goad fliers, but I typically keep threaten def 3 when I offer him as a VG support unit so he has better synergy with random unit teams), he can one round Arden, even if Arden runs on full health and a merge. My Michalis always uses a triple goad buff, which allows this to happen.

I mean, you could do this, but also just using the standard DB3 + lancebreaker rein with a heavy blade seal and moonbow will basically be just as good and doesn't need the startup turn to reciprocal aid. But it IS fun to use, i have a quad strike olwen and i imagine it's pretty similar. So not really optimal, but if you wanna do it for the meme it's not a bad idea, just not really necessary for efficiency.
