Brash assault seal + desperation
Ok I’ve been playing with builds and the desperation + brash assault + defiant attack builds seems really strong. I already built an Ogma to run the build since he came at 5 stars and had all the needed skills besides desperation.
What confuses me is how strong these builds are. Are there any glaring weaknesses with these builds that I wouldn’t notice in a damage calculator? They seem crazy strong offensively but are they practical in the arena or in tempest trials? When I make a build and my damage calculator says they win 130 matchups no problem, it makes me a bit skeptical of how accurate the math is lol

Sure they may win their match ups but you also have to take into account any units that might initiate your oogma after he attacks and kills your enemy and then kill him
also I'm not sure how Kagero chart works but you have to worry about buffs, spurs and any random skills that sometimes show up on computer enemies and ruins your day because of that unexpected pass or something that gets ur unit killed

Short answer, they are strong when you meet the conditions. What you're seeing isn't wrong.
The reason why they aren't that OP, for arena or single maps, is that battles usually don't last long enough & it is not consistent enough for the effort you through to get him below 50% health to get that overpower state. For like TT and chain challenges are fine for it.
But for a simple explanation for it is: why put the time& effort for 4-hit combo is rather unnecessary when 2-hit combo generally gets the job done.

Ye they r VERY strong the only downside is the setup and that they can be revenge killed easily so u have to be careful.
They r realy good for TT with WoM dancers but not so much for arena.
For arena the setup is a problem when u have to set up a unit so that they may be able to take one units that they normally couldnt. Defiant skills lower ur score a bit also

Ok. I gave ninian wings of mercy partially because her other b slot rarely worked and partially because I knew I wanted to run this build lol.
The problem with setting up also seems true, my plan was to run my Ogma along side my Reinhardt check sonya, so she could soak some damage, swap HP with Ogma, then that would be ogma’s time to sweep. I haven’t practiced it in arena yet but it is a lot to set up so I can see that being a problem lol

As said by the others, the build is strong but the issue is that you gotta set it up.
If you wanna do something that strong without having those issues, there is Arden for you :)
Also 130 win isn't that amazing on a super offensive unit.
My setsuna get 149 wins without any of the spurs ./ hones she usually gets
