Brash Assault + Desperation Meme - Best candidates

Dunno if there has already been a similar Thread (I guess so, but I wasn't active the last few days) but I was wondering/ wanted to discuss whom to apply this build to.

In general we are looking out for Heroes with High Atk and low/ mediocre Speed to utilize the combo. Mostly you'll be aiming to get a Quad build done to utilize the two skills to their full potential. It's important to note that your unit will have to be at <50% health! So you may want a tanky unit to bait in the enemy turn and quad them afterwards. Otherwise you would have to rely on Ardent Sacrifice/ Reciprocal Aid which I personally don't like.
Good Candidates in my opinion are:

Chrom (everyone already mentioned him) because of his low Speed and really high Atk.
=> Alternatively probably Alfonse since they have quite similar stats. Chrom is slightly better tho (not only because you can merge him).
Of course both will want a Brave Sword for quads.

Ephraim because he has similar stats to Chrom but is Blue aka a Lance user and doesn't really need a Breaker skill now that he can simply run this combo. Don't use a Brave Lance on him tho!

Cherche/ Frederick also have high ATK and pretty low SPD. Using Hit 'nd Run on Cherche may still be better tho.

Now one that some may not agree with: B!Ike.
He has really good ATK and low SPD. So far so good. But many people probably won't be willing to neglect his Beorc's Blessing for Desperation. But let's be honest... Beorc's Blessing isn't THAT good. I mean he probably can still tank A LOT of units without it and kill them the next turn because he's in Brash Assault/ Desperation range. Actually Bike is my top candidate (together with Chrom maybe, but I just don't like Chrom's Art T_T).

What do you think?

Anyone with high attack would benefit, low speed is a good bonus, and being a flier or cavalry would be good to get the initiation advantage when you need it since they likely wont live long once in that zone if they have such low speed.

Well, he would have to be below 50% health which would be pretty hard to do and he would only quad ranged units (which probably would be overkill).
Nice meme tho :D

What about Eldigan w/ Calvary buffs?

Brave Sword+
Reposition
Luna/Bonfire/Galeforce
Fury/Death Blow/Sturdy Blow 3
Desperation
Panic Ploy/Threaten Def/Calvary Buff
Brash Assault 3

Actually the BIke idea really isn't too bad. Not only will it allow him to double, against physical units he'll be able to guarantee that his opponent will make any double consecutive and only do 20% damage

Effie will be a good candidate due to wary fighter/brash assault synergy. I think people are getting a bit too hyped on the whole quad thing. Units like cherche don't need to quad, if she doesn't kill something in two hits (probably only very high def reds) she shouldn't be hitting it.

That said it will be good for tempest trials where your low hp carries over. Slow mages like sanaki, julia etc will be able to sit under the hp threshold and nuke.

Just a reminder of something that people seems to forget all the time :
Brash assault only gives you a double hit on a foe that can counter.
So slow mages are probably not the best candidates for this as they will only be able to use it to fight green mages and other red mages. But those characters usually run TA for green mages and get rekt by faster mages (aka Tharja). And usually, they won't be fighting other red mages much because those aren't so meta.
I don't mention blue mages because they obviously won't have the advantage here even with brash assault.

I actually do like the idea of putting it on a bait unit like BIke/Lukas, so that they're not useless on player phase if they don't have a special charged. And the fact that using them how you naturally would allows them to proc BA3 without going out of your way (eg: running reciprocal aid over a movement assist). The only real issue is missing out on QR3 (I'd say BIke prefers this to BB in most cases, honestly).

I'm tossing it on a + atk frederick I had laying around. He's the highest attack horse I have laying around to make use of movement buffs, and my ideal is to make use of galeforce and Wings of Mercy dancers to allow him to solo full maps. I don't think anything that WON'T trigger brash assault can survive him anyway (...henry?) and with horse speed and his attack stats he shouldn't have much trouble racing around the map to sweep a whole bunch of kills.
