Bows for NY!corrin?

Currently I'm building my corrin as an offensive player phase (might change him to a defensive phase once i get an extra taco) now my corrin is sitting an a good 49/35 without buff and still has a good def of 29.

My question is what bow should i give him? Slaying bow fir ignis? Guard bow so i could be offensive and defensive? Silver bow so i could reach 50+ atk? Or should i keep Hama ya for the good support type?

I do plan on refining his weapon to def so he could reach a solid 35 def so he could still be a wall.

Lastly what b slot would be good? Im thinking of bow breaker for anti meta or stick to good ol plain QR.

If you're trying to make a Player Phase corrin, then a Slaying Bow is probably your best bet for faster Bonfire/Ignis procs, not to mention it can be refined for added defense, or speed if you really wanna go that route. Could also keep Hama Ya to support his allies...but that doesn't necessarily help him all too much, at least not directly.

As far as B skills, I'm currently using Quick Riposte. You could use Bow Breaker, but I found that to be a bit 'much' since his defense is pretty high with things like Distant Defense seals/A slot and Guard Bow (if you're gonna use that anyway)

Even without Close Counter, he's an excellent Enemy Phase unit, btw.

QR it is. Still thinking really hard for that bow tho. I do have a gaius for refreshing bow. That +2 to all stat is really good but i only have 1 gaius so I don't want to fodder the guy. I'll keep this in mind cuz a 2 cd bonfire would be great.

Kind of in the same boat as you. I'm basically fighting between Slaying (Offense) vs. Guard Bow (duhhhh). Thing is, he's going to need everything he can get to get that Spd up, which takes away from a valuable S-slot. I'm not S-supporting him, so he'd need L&D3 to get up to 40 Spd with a Spd-refined bow *and* the Seal.

On the flip side, I'm also considering Guard Bow (+Res) as well as Fury and DD Seal. That'd bump him up to 49 Def/36 Res, which is pretty solid. Then, you can further stack that with things like Fortify, Spur & Drives to make the most of it.

Hmmm that's one thing to think about. But having my team with fortify or spur def/res seems like a waste... I could just give everyone hones or drive to bump everyone's attack... Buuuttt yeah that's a pretty solid way of using corrin

I'd do it, but I'd basically be making a somewhat-lesser Faye. Just build him the way you want to. The game is making so many upgrades, you can build your character to fit more than one role. I'm basically swinging for offensive grounds with stuff like Darting Blow or Swift Sparrow > Slaying Bow.
