Book II story : FEH finally have a plot?!

The cinematics of the Book II was quite awesome, although I saw it already and it felt like a parody of some popular manga anime xD

The point of this thread is actually to point out a fact. If some of you guys, intelligent software fans know about another amazing game named Advanced Wars. I am a big fan of this series too, actually I loved my FE games on GBA but on DS, Advanced Wars: Dark conflict was soooooooo good, so ***** good! That I could not tell which one was actually my favorite.

And now, the book II, the way the plot are presented and the background thema ost sounds just like some of Dark Conflict ah ah ! x)

I'm just starting the first chapter, I hope it won't get a flat plot like Book I afterward.

I was expecting that the new story will be a huge letdown, but I'm also pleasantly surprised - the maps are nice, non-heroic manaketes have been introduced and the new villains are much cooler than Veronica and Bruno. I'm just hoping that they'll develop the new villains more in upcoming chapters, because so far, the story for each (non-paralogue) chapter after release was pretty much just *HUGE SPOILER AHEAD* "hey, Bruno went here into this world....oh look, Bruno is possesed by the curse...oh, we beat Bruno yet again and now he's running away. *END OF HUGE SPOILER*

I agree but even if I like the plot from book two there is very little story really happening. chapter one felt like intro and then 4 levels of no story^^ Also would like to hear more about Fjorms Sister.

Btw for our newer players you should mark your comment with "spoiler alert"

Whoops, good point. There is not really much to spoil anyway in book 1, but your point is still valid anyway. Gonna edit that just to be polite.

I like this new story. The new villains are pretty awesome. Though it seems that Surtr is way OP. He's just overkill.

Haha yeah, I thought "even without the invulnerability seal, it's not like if we could take him down". He has a armored unit powercreeped BST and super optimized (like 16Spd with bonus stats, so basically, he should have even less Spd than Arden, like 12 at level 40 lol).

His weapon effect is quite funny, since it basically means you're dead if you start at his attack range (20 flat damage then he attacks with his 60+ atk). But still, it would be fun to try take him down once a quest doesn't equip him with the seal.
