Blessed Gardens

I don't understand this.. game mode? Like.. It's just recyclin old maps. Playing with blessings doesn't change the game really... why was this added even?

Cuz too many people where crying about not enough blessings and divine dew and IS felt like throwing a bone to shut us up

It just feels lazy. The rewards are cool, but it would've been nice if they'd spent a little bit of time in making it interesting. The game grossed an absurd amount last year, clearly they have the resources to do things. 295 million dollars. Just consider that. A quarter billion.

The thing is, there is only so much you can do with PvE content in a game like this to make it interesting, and I think they did a decent job with rival domains. I mean, you could do some economy based stuff like building cities, but other than that, I am not sure how many possibilities there are to make PvE content that doenst feel kinda recycled and really seems new

Report

This is true there is a limit to what their options are. However this doesn't just FEEL like recycled content, it IS recycled content. There's nothing even remotely new or interesting about Blessed Gardens. It's only real purpose is to give us more blessings to use which they could've done in a much different manner considering they tried to make this mode out to be some awesome new breakthrough for them (i mean come on did it really need its own icon?).

Report

They weren't rushed into anything. IS has held us hostage for long periods of no new content before, they simply dropped the ball on this one. Besides if that were true than Rival Domains which is a new mode and nothing like it has existed in the game before wouldn't have been made either. In comparison Blessed Gardens feels like a total cop-out.

I like it, coz it forces you to split up your units, still being able to solve the puzzles with just a quarter of your roster. Right now it's easy but the hard maps will come, where you regret e.g. making your Reinhardt a water instead of a wind guy.

but since you are getting a blessing of the next garden for clear, you can just give it to Reindhart and have him in every map. Sure its not the most optimal way to use the blessings, but with other sources off them, you could still diversify teams while having Reindhart to clear all maps.

A small boost in your stats and double SP seems fair to me for blessings. I agree, they don't change anything, but rather provide small bonuses to your favorite heroes.

Looking too deep brother. It's a gacha game
