Black Knight B-Skill?

So what do you guys think? Should I give him Wary Fighter just to increase his effective bulk? Or do you think his speed is high enough to avoid most doubles, meaning I should do with something like Quick Riposte or Vantage?

Interested to read what people think about this choice since BK seems to have so many viable options lol

I think his speed will be high enough to avoid doubles, so it doesn't seem necessary. QR is still an option as he'll have 34 speed, but something tells me everyone and their mother may run Fury on him.

He's perfect for it after all, and has the HP to stomach the effect. 37 Spd after Fury is nothing to scoff at. L&D could take care if his speed entirely, but it would be risky just due to his crippling Resistance.

Either way, I think he'll manage without Wary Fighter.

Yeah fury will probably be a popular skill for the BK. Sometimes I'd wish there were a few more skills in the recommended unit builds here (and everywhere). It's almost always fury and I've never once pulled an 4* fury fodder.

I get that it's a useful and safe skill and I would use it more if I could SI it to units but it seems like there is a saying here at feel heroes: " when in doubt, go fury!"

Steady Breath + Wrath with Quickened Pulse and Black Luna is absolutely terrifying. I happen to have an extra Bike I'm saving for him but no Wrath so I'll probably give him QR. Windsweep is also an interesting option if you have it, especially on arena defense. With Phantom Speed and a bit of buffing, he could Windsweep most things in the game, which means in order to deal damage the enemy has to initiate on him, and if they don't one shot him, which not many things outside of blue mages can do, they have to eat a Black Luna to the face which if not kill them will severely cripple them.

Quick Riposte is his strongest B slot skill, but others are content as well.

Vantage because everyone loves it on distant counter heroes.

Wrath to add insult to injury because of Eclipse (I refuse to call it Black Luna)

Although Fury 3 is good, I'd rather use Steady Breath.

honestly hes such a good unit that its pretty hard to fuck it up. i probably wouldnt go with wary because his speed is already pretty good and enemies would need 39 speed at least to double which isnt very common. QR and vantage are both excellent choices and can help out alot with helping him fit a dps and counter mage build respectively. However, if you want to consider his optimal build then wrath is easily the way to go. combo wrath with qp to keep his eclipse cd at 2 and then give him steady breath and he'll counter with a boosted eclipse every time.

and while we're on A skills like i said steady breath is optimal but there are honestly just so many options. his high hp lets him run any of the element boost skills well for a tasty +6 to the stat of you choice, the ever present fury (despite me thinking its overrated) boosts his stats into oblivion, deathblow is good and even darting blow would grant him 40 speed on initiation which is enough to double most units. basically avoid giving him the following, distant counter, life and death, tri adept, and warding blow. stay away from those and you cant go wrong

Guard, Vantage, Wrath... So many good options. Wary Fighter not being one of them.
