Biggest regrets when you started?

I regret sending Olwen home just because she had unusable IVs. She's one of my favorite FE characters now

Foddering my only extra Hector (at the time) too quickly. He went to Joshua, and while he was useful when he was a bonus unit for a Tempest Trial a few months back, I rarely ever use him outside of maybe Assault maps.

Also, not checking IVs before I sent extra 3/4 Stars home. It really could have helped since I have yet to pull a single good Titania this year.

I regret doing all the stories and paralogues so quickly, then I (not knowing any better) wasted them on bad banners.

I managed to get two Lyn's before I even knew what IVs were in this game, and I just merged the second one into the first one I had, which had far from optimal IVs. I often wonder what that second Lyn's IVs were. Knowing my luck they were probably good.

- Wasting Orbs of ChainChallenges on units which won't be used.

- Sending 2 Lyns home.

- Merging 5* Lon'qu into 4* Lon'qu then promoting him to 5*. (Trust me, I really did it).

- Killing Ares for L!Ephraim

- Sending TT Units home

- Killing Lene for Joshua.

- Sending all healers home.

- Making all Effies into Combat Manuals without checking IVs.

- Killing L!Hector for VF instead of DC.

Yes. I'm still making mistakes and yes, I've been playing from release.

Merric, Titania, and Leon - promoted all of them to 5* to fodder off, forgot to raise them to level 40 first (Merric I pulled a 5* before the demotion, but I merged him to my 4* version).

Oh yeah and Merging some seasonal units that do not have great IVs (didn't check them at all before merging).

Foddering Ike not knowing how the game works with legendary heroes...

Didn't know how banners worked in the early days and thought they stacked so that 3% focus unit was for all banners active. No doubt I wasted a lot of possible pity rates just summoning on random banners. Also not knowing how good 4* merge projects could be, I've no doubt sent home some good IV units thinking 'I'll never 5* them so why keep them'.

Sacrificing my first Odin to a four star Lachesis, and only giving her R.Tomebreaker 1. I had to wait until for the free Odin we got a few weeks ago to get a second copy. And merging copies of 3-star Matthews (I only got to +2). And also S-supporting L!Ike and B!Lyn they were very powerful, but their support made me unabke to do certain F2P strategies.

Wasting 100+ orbs on Lewyn's banner the day before Muspell generals came out and got nothing.

When i first started the game, i remember foddering all my valters, thinking there was going to be a new valter every week on the rotation haha. After a few more mistakes, decided to reroll o/.

For me I know i've sent home WAY too many units that would have had useful fodder, this was before combat manuals (i'd love to have those Shannas back now).

My only other real regret is not realizing you could reroll back when I first started. Leo and Cain were not exactly great 5 star units to try and start with...

I promoted Takumi to 5* and fed him a lot of skills...then never used him.
I merged 4* units and then promoted them to 5* like a fool without even checking IVs.
I also gave Atk Tactics to L!Marth and I don’t even know why. Now I’m sad because I want him in a Tactics Team but he needs the attack boost...

At the moment, foddering off good IV Odins for moonbow lmao. Didn't expect to pull bridal Sanaki but she's +def -spd so I have no use for her so now I gotta wait till I pull a +spd Odin to promote and give def res link with refined grimoire. Atm I have none lmao.
