Biggest decision so far!

So yeah....
I have B!Ike and Hector with obvious fodder skills.
So I am planning on giving MGrima steady breath and DC to Myrrh but Both might be fodder units are the first copies since launch(but I only got them this year)and I'm F2P
So should I fodder them or keep( I like both B!Ike and hector)

So what's the biggest decision have you guys done?

I wouldn't fodder them off right away.

Part of it is that I don't ever fodder off 5-Star only units unless I pull another copy of the same unit. You can find a lot of use for those B!Ike and Hector if you build them up, especially since they are still super powerful units.

Grima and Myrrh can also function very well without Steady Breath and Distant Counter, respectively. They don't absolutely need to have those skills. Plus, I think that it's better to have four amazing units available for deployment for flexibility rather than two.

Then what other A skill is good on Grima and Myrrh, I gave them both Fury worked out so far but since Grima has Vengeful fighter and Myrrh has QR it's not the best mix.

As both are enemy phase units you're best options is a stance or bond skill but as they're near as rare as Distant Counter it may have to be Fury or a Stat+3 for now.

My biggest decision is wether or not I fodder off one of my Hectors (I have regular and LA) for Distant counter. To make things harder, both are +Atk-Res, and I think that's a very good IV. I also really like both Armads (double QR+Wary Fighter) and Berserk Armads (double Wrath+Vantage).

So, for now, I don't fodder them.

I have a general formula that I abide by when thinking of foddering;
- How much do I like and use the unit that's going to get the skill (in this case it'd be either Effie for tactics team or Camilla for flier emblem, really like both),
- How much do I like and use the unit that's going to get foddered (as said before, i like both Hectors and they are very powerful),
- How good are the IV's of the unit that's going to get foddered (pretty good in this case!), and
- Is the recipient worth investing into?

The answer to the last question mainly depends on wether or not I intend to use said unit for high level Arena play. For almost everything else, you don't really need premium fodder to make a unit work.

Hope that helps!

I had only one Hector from first hero fest over one year ago. I sacrifice him to give my +def +1 Myhrr DC and I never regret that.
I had 2 B!Ikes and one of them get fodder for A!Tiki (4star+10). If I ever get some super powerfull unit I fodder my second B!Ike, because i rarely use him.
Only drawback for me, was Bound Hero Battle quest with only armored heroes. Few times Hecor would be useful.

But I personaly dont like playing armored units, and dont realy like Ike (and my +2 VL!Ike is better). And I love to use dragon emblem.
