B!Hector/B!Ephraim+aether

So after getting both brave men with perfect ivs (in my opinion) being +def-speed for armads boi and +res-hp for siegmund boi i've been wandering about their specials for quite a long time.

Hector works well with ignis, being able to proc it every single time no matter the phase. And because of his massive def (superboon helps) it is devastating. Ephraim with draconic aura is not perfect, as missing 1 cooldown is not great. The thing is, having both if them hp requirements of >50% hp to be amazing I thought about giving them aether, since both of them have cooldown reductions (being ephraim the most notable)

What do you think of this? The survavility they get from this is great (even greater in PvE) and they skills requirement almost everytime are checked. Giving qp seal also makes things easier. So shall i give them both aether? Only one of them? Other specials?

So, as a proud owner of "perfect IV" +def/-spd hector and perfect IV
ephraim +spd/-res (allows him to double effies and hectors with wary ) with aether, i tell you to do it. They are monsters in PVE and work in arena too, almost unkillable in armor emblem. Especially if you equip ephraim with DC. Put ignis on him for max dmg, he can even kill zelgius with a hone buff

Speed is a bad stat to increase since his weapon let's him do doubles with Hone and Rally's skills.

In PvE the spd boon is helpful. You can actually avoid doubles with spd in the 30s which reduces the damage he takes. Good idea if you have to fight hordes of reinforcements.

Also, as he pointed out, he uses it to crack wary fighters.

I see hp as his best bane because speed is useful to break warys, and he has good enough speed to stop doubles from dragons/armors. Also, speed is a superbane, so hp looks as the most fitting way to go. Res being a superboon is great for fighting dragons, and with dc it is even better

I'm a bit less sure about aether on B.Hector than on B.Ephraim. Ephraim will probably activate it a lot and replenish his HP, keeping special fighter active. B.Hector really works best with a default 4-charge special (3-charge with his weapon) but if you want sustain in PvE I don't know what you can do other than go for aether.

Yeah, i see ephraim as a great user of aether because of his special fighter, whereas hector only has bold fighter on the player phase. I think going to keep ignis on hector, and aether goes to ephraim, maybe with L!hector or qp to have it on the first fight regardless of phase or doubles.
