The better Camilla artist?

So now that there are 4 Camillas, she's had two separate artists. The question is, who did her better?
Maeshima Shigeki, who did her regular and Spring form.
Or Mikuro, who did her New Year and Summer forms.
Personally, I prefer Mikuro's art. I think Camillas art looks so crisp and clear in her NY and Summer forms. Not to say that Maeshima did a bad job, I will admit that they captured her personality better in her regular and Spring forms. And that they captured her fan service look better. But I feel like she looks a lot prettier and a lot less fan service and more normal in her NY and Summer forms. Yes, both her NY and Summer forms are still very fan service, but idk. It just looks to me like she's a woman enjoying the new year and the beach. She looks like she's just a normal woman having a fun time, it fits her better imo. Unlike her regular and Spring forms, where I think that those are much more blatant on the fan service.
Either way, I still think both of them did a great job on her, but in the end I feel that Mikuro did Camilla better.

The new one for sure. I find the old and spring ones just look wierd, trying too hard to be sexy. Which is something spring Kagero also had.
The new Camilla art have elegance about them, it's still very much fanservice but I think it's better. It feels more like a real woman.

Mikuro tankes the win for me.

Camilla looks Thotty with Maeshima's art.

The new ones are clearly superior. That can apply to most of the new artwork in this game, which got considerably better when compared to the first months (remember things like Eliwood and Arthur?).

NY! Camilla especially is the winner for me.

Arthur looking like a comicbook character was pretty amazing. It wouldn't fit having serious art for him.

I guess you are right about it fitting his character, but it's kind of off-putting for me personally. He looked much better in fates.

That's the risk of stylized art, it can look great for some people but out of place for others.

On a similair note, it's kinda funny how some of the Shadow Dragon characters (Hardin, Minerva and Michalis) kinda look like their original game, but a lot better.

Daisuke Izuka (also Black Knight/ Zelgius as well) is hands down one of my favorite FEH artists here I love how he makes their armor look like tanks

I prefer the new art but I do think the old art is more true to Camilla's character. The new art makes Camilla appear feminine while the old art makes Camilla seem... psychotic?

Her Summer form is my favorite so far.

I'd say Mikuro. I do love her original and spring looks but her summer forme in particular looks so beautiful and at peace, not posing for the camera, or rather image tome, as it were. All are gorgeous regardless.

Your feelings on the Camilla art is similar to my feelings on the Takumi art. So for fun, I’ll use Shinnosuke vs Tobi for the Takumi art.

When it comes to capturing the characters as a whole, Shinnosuke was easily better. He made Takumi look tough, edgey, and intimidating. It was even more unnerving when Fallen Takumi came out. Plus, the cell shading made him more unique and pop out more.

However, Tobi’s Art is the one I prefer. It just seemed more natural and likeable. It was nicer and while it wasn’t quite as unique as Shinnosuke, Tobi had a more handrawn vibe, and that was warmer and more inviting. It had more charm to it. Hell, I went after Summer Takumi and NY!Takumi just because of that art (and voice lines and other small details, but the point still stands).

I never liked Camilla in FEH, especially because of her art. But the NY one and especially the Summer one has a similar charm and looked cleaner. So to answer your question, the new artist just has that something that’s better than his predecessor.

Well, I might have gone with Shigeki, cause NY Camilla was the first time I saw her not suffering from terminal JRS (Jessica Rabbit Syndrome: "She's not bad, just drawn that way"), but it's back with Summer Camilla XDDD

So, I'm waiting for someone who can make her look like she is NOT the tiddy monster from the boobie lagoon OwO XDDDDDD
