I pulled 2 Brave Hectors from the last legendary banner trying to get Hrid (If I remember correctly), and since BF is a valuable skill, I turned the worst 2 that I had into manuals. Now I have two BF fodders laying around and no idea who to use it on. I had some Ideas, even though they are gimmicky to say the least, like Draug (since he has Brave Sword+ as his base Weapon and I could proc Ignis at least once during combat), but I am looking for some good candidates. So, if anyone has some units that worked well with BF do far, I'd love to know since I don't want to waste this skill on some units who wouldn't perform well in the long run
Definitely Zelgius or Black Knight. They're guaranteed to proc Black Luna once with BF during every combat as long as the enemy counterattacks (assuming their special cooldown isn't delayed). Combine with Steady Breath, QR seal, and armor buffs, then you have a monster on both phases.
The only unit I've inherited BF to was my +def/-spd Zelgius who I also gave SB. And it is nice to help make up for the -spd on player phase.
Otherwise I did inherit Brave Axe+ on my +atk W!Lissa and have liked BF plus Brave weapon on her at least. I've been using Moonbow with her for throwing off potential 2 specials in one round of combat or simply consistantly throwing off a special before any counterattack.
H!Jakob with brave bow and Bold fighter is absolutely broken.
H!Niles can do a similar job with Bold fighter but he's better with special fighter.
Other ranged armors are also good with BF but not as good because they don't have brave weapons
Zelgius or BK also can use bold fighter with wo dao or brave sword to do lots of black luna damage.
Grima is also really good with bold fighter because of his high attack.
L!hector is also a good pick because he has good enemy phase but poor player phase.
