Best TA Gronraven unit?

Hello again, all. It's me again, still trying to figure out my team comp so I can net a decent Arena defense. It seems like triangle adept mages are all the rage these days, and since it seems like the game is actively punishing those who step away from meta if they don't have the resources to spend to build niche teams, I'm going to just go along with it, no matter how salty it makes me feel.

My question would be which triangle adept mage is the best in the game? Green mages seem to be prefered above all else due to Brave Lyn and Sir Tiny Hands dominating the meta, and I have a few to choose from. Going from least investment needed to most. Keep in mind, I have virtually no feathers, so I can't promote someone to five stars for Gronraven+.

Performance Inigo
Celica (Potential four star merge. Also is an arena bonus, which is a plus.)
Merric
Soren

Also if you have other interesting builds for Arena Defense, I'd like to hear them. Keep in mind, I always try to achieve defenses with bonus units. (But I don't have any of the units from the Holy War banners because fuck IS, so eh.)

Nice. Here's mine.

This is my Go-to raven user. As he is, with distant defence 3, he can tank and kill both Reinhardt and Lyn, If they are +10, he tank and kill them both if Lyn attacks first, to keep bowbreaker active. He is +Def -Res.

I have a +Atk -res one and a true neutralone -- both 5 stars. I also could only get distant def 2 so far. With that in mind, do you think either of those set ups would work for me?

That +Atk one looks quite nice. It has the same boon as mine, but can output more damage. Brave Lyn does 0 damage with brave bow+, and about 4-6 with Murgleiss. Yours should still be able to tank her fine.
The decision is up to you. The +Atk one can do more damage on the counter attack, while the Neutral one can tank Reinhardt a bit better. They would both work.
I would say choose one to use based on your preferences, and merge the other one into it.

I admit I haven't tried most. I run Celica on Cavalry emblem though and she does well. P! Inigo would be my choice though for being a dancer on top of it.

Out of your options (excluding Camilla who is obviously a top contender), Inigo works wonders, Soren can do it because he has no other options, Merric works like Boey with higher Defence for mages, and Julia is now also a good option due to the introduction of her mother.

I would pick Inigo and Julia, the former for utility and the later for her high attack stat.

Edit: I just realised you meant Cecilia, who is also a really meta pick due to her synergy in Horse Emblem, and I would actually rank her the same with Inigo as a contender for Raven!TA. So, Inigo > Cecilia > Julia.

Boey can wall any lancer and take 0 damage. The new distance defense seal really helps against blue mages too. Archers can't even scratch him of course

In my opinion Cecilia is the best Gronnraven(+)-User in the game for some reasons:

1. She is the only one who has this Tome naturally --> Budget
2. She ist sitting on a horse = great mobility + horse boosts (something she shares with BCamilla for Fliers)
3. She is available on three and for star rarity (easy IV-Picks and besides Nino (and she is a clear Gronnblade+-User) the easiest summonable green mage)
4. There exists a neutral f2p-Non-Summon-Cecilia (only green mage so far i guess)
5. She is not a temporary unit (like BCamilla was and Inigo will be in a few days)
6. Still a -Def-Bane is with Raven + Triangle Adept high enough to counter any colorless unit (without Cancel Affinity) and Reinhardt

Julia and Sonya would stay at their own tomes (Julia can be THE Distant Defense Unit in the game and Sonya has a Wo Dao+-like tome - nothing to give away for a simple raven tome). So both are not the best picks imo.

Merrics Atk is underwhelming (same with Boey, but Boey can work quiet well i guess, because his Atk and Def is a little bit higher then Merrics) and overall Merric is the worst green mage in the game.
Robin(F) is anywhere between them and can fulfil the same role than Robin(M) as blue variant. But she can not be summoned, because of being a reward from Grand Hero Battles.

Performing Inigo can be a pick for Gronnraven AND he can dance, which is extremely comfortable in most teams, but he has one of the lowest BST, which is not that nice for Arena Score. In comparison with Cecilia he has less Res (for Reinhardt) and less Atk and no access to any kind of horse boosts, is a temporary unit and don't wield the tome naturally. But besides that he can be a decent pick (more or less because his main task is dancing and his stat spread is horrible to do anything else than being support or - of course - a Brave Lyn/Reinhardt Check/Counter.

Soren can be a decent pick too, because in my opinion he is the only green tome wielder so far, which can use ANY Gronn-Tome relative nice thanks to his stats (but the IVs are important for him, to fulfil a role better or not so good), but don't rly shine in anything especially (which is not that bad, because of his flexibility).

Nino und SElise are clear Gronnblade+-Users and Deirdre don't want to lose her Devine Naga.

So all in all i think Cecilia ist the best AND cheapest AND easiest to get Unit for Gronnraven-build.

7. All the others.

this is the best unit to counter b.lyn and reinhardt and all blues, all greens, 50/50 with hector.
