Best fodder?

So I did a search didn't really find a thread about it, but i'm curious who is the best free unit to get for fodder, who would benefit most from the neutral IV (for example Bike from CYL1) and who is the best for arena use? Curious how everyone else ranks them, though I'll likely grab whichever one PM1 grabs so I have the same IV for his guides lol

Arena wise obv Hector
Fodder wise Celica: DB4/AT, Ephraim: literally everything he has, Veronica: literally everything she has , Hector: Bold Fighter
So Ephraim and Veronica I'd say are best for fodder but it's mostly only for their class

Best fodder: depends on demand in your barracks, but all other things being equal, I would say Veronica. Windfire balm+, wrathful staff, close guard, wow. Ephraim I would give second place with close def, armour march, and special fighter, which is currently exclusive to him. After those two come death blow 4 and bold fighter.

Best with neutral IVs: if you ask me, none of the units prefer neutral to minmax. Veronica wants +spd -def; Ephraim wants some defensive (or even spd) boon at the expense of spd or HP (or even atk); Celica wants to trade res for stronger offenses; Hector would dump spd for either defensive stat, probably def. For the free pick I would probably go with Celica (even if not counting red focus units being harder to pull) or Hector. Veronica can buff, debuff, and heal with literally any IV. -atk, -spd, +HP, doesn't matter; she'll still heal and steal all the opponents' stats with wrazzle dazzle. Ephraim has a sufficiently balanced statline that he could potentially use any boon (HP being the least favourable). In contrast, 3/5 banes are pretty unpleasant on Celica (atk, spd, def) and only 2/5 boons are desirable. On Hector, 2/5 banes are pretty bad and those same two are his desired boons, but I don't really like his res that much anyways so +def is the only boon I want, which means there are two banes I would like (spd and HP), one I could readily accept as a compromise (atk), and only one boon I want. I tend to be more picky about IVs on tanks and units with marginal stats (ex: I don't especially like neutral Felicia or Caeda; I want +atk), and Celica doesn't fit either of those descriptions, so I would accept neutral on her more easily than on Hector.

Best for arena use: depends what level of arena, but I would say Ephraim. Guard down to 50%HP and still having forced double on either phase is probably broken, and it's very effective against the loads of bolsh** fighter we see.
