Best candidates for Steady Breath?

I have a spare B!Ike and I'm willing to know how well this skill does and how liable it can be when paired with healing skills/specials. What do you consider good candidates for this skill?

Actually, I think that +Spd / -HP is one of her ideal IVs. (In general, she can run either +Spd or -Spd, depending on what you want to do with her and how your team is going to be built.)

+Spd with Spd support from Drives allow her to avoid a lot of doubles from other Dragons and mid-Spd Tier units, then double back with Quick Riposte. Heck, I've seen instances where +Spd Nowi can avoid doubles from B!Lyn and even some variants of Slaying Edge + Regnal Astra Ayra with proper support.

Wow, Nowi does seem like a lot of fun now..
ill think about it when I've max merged my Gwendolyn. I'm working on 3 merge projects and the last space is free in my team for someone that I like and that spot may be Nowi.

Yeah, pretty much. You can easily reach 40spd with a +spd speed refined Nowi with just basic speed support. It makes her good against these fast types of units, but it's dangerous versus bold fighter armors - Hardin just slices through her with no effort.

Yeah, those are not the best matchups, but you can kind of secure them by giving her guard 3 as her B skill (and qr as a seal), which will make sure, that he doesn't kill you with his special, since he can't kill her with raw dmg alone. That applies to most of the bold fighter armor matchups.

That vomit worthy thing that a lot of people are still using in arena is a good candidate (you can guess once who that is).

But on a serious note, pretty much any unit with a good defensive statline that can reliably fill the enemy phase role can have it, so I'd say that you give it to a hero that you like.

To give a couple of examples out of my head (except for dragons) - some of the armored units (especially those with DC weapons), Lukas, Hinata, Dorcas, DC weapon infantry.

All those options look viable enough. Gwendolyn might be better with something like DC and vengeful fighter, but that's almost an impossible combination of fodder to get for regular players.

Hana could be interesting. Her base def is pretty low, so it would take some effort to make it actually work reliably for baiting. Hinata is a safe bet, but he also needs a lot of investment.

Overall, the dragons units are probably the most notorious steady breath users and I guess it's nice to have one, because they are objectively really powerful (but extremely boring).

Dragons sometimes get boring and annoying, like how the 'Devs say Thanks' challenges were horrendous.

DC+VF is the Set my Gwendolyn is aiming for. I missed W!Tharja, Hector is on a banner and I'm trying to get him at the moment.

Dragon/armored with DC or any bulky unit like Lukas, Hinata, Alfonse. Main streinght of said skill is cooldown reduction, works wonders with Aether.
Since its 5* locked skill i would recommend to use it on your core arena team.
