Best Candidates for Distant Counter

So as probably everyone else I have alot of red Distant Counter units but am lacking in other colors.
I'm thinking about the best candidates for a +10 merge Project, involving non Armored Axe/Lance users who are easily obtainable and can tank both magical and physical attacks. Any advise who you would pick? I thought about Titania and Mathilda but their def/atk might be a bit lacking. I allready do have a merged Oboro so shes out ;)

Titania with DC is a force to be reckoned with. Don't let her lack of ATk fool you. Mathilda would be in a similar boat. I personally want to get Clair up as my blue DC project because I like her as a character, but also now because of Rhompnia making her blue Caeda. Though blue armors aren't as dominant and red/green is covered by Caeda.

Assuming i dont want to use her Emerald Axe since i'd like one to refine it for +def how does she get her damage output? or is Emerald axe a must have?

If I'm not mistaken it's that she often finds herself against glass cannons with very thin defenses

Clair and Azura can use DC since their res is decent, also Donnel can use it very well if you give him Berkut's lance, as for green i think either Camilla or Myrrh can use DC.
The only time i foddered DC was to Eirika for arena points since she is in my arena core

Myrrh i do posess and i really do not consider her an "easy" merge Project she only was on her release banner yet and i was lucky enough at the time to have 300 f2p orbs and well shes "only" +4

Sheena is said to have good defenses, having bane speed and boon atk, you can initiate a merge project with her.

Vegeful fighter and DC make her the best resistance green armor in the game. Also very easy to merge.

aye i even have those IVs but I'd rather not use an armored Unit since on certain maps that can really be a downfall (turn limit maps, or maps with reinforcements) until IS releases an Armored healer that is.

Easily obtainable? I guess Donnel with Berkut's Lance (another farmboy spitting on Berkut's face). He is actually a very solid and underrated unit imo.
If you don't mind running iote shield tho, Camilla can run a DC build very effectively, arguably still good even without the seal in arena. Shigure can actually do a decent job at this as well but I believe other builds are better for him.

Donnel is indeed a very good unit. I think it's only because he's somewhat middle of the road in a min-maxing, armour-spamming meta and because it's up to the builder to bring out his potential (harping on people who don't even try to craft their own units before asking here) that he gets overlooked

Camilla without Iote's shield sounds dangerous, though, unless someone else has B.Lyn covered. Not that you will hit her back, but bait her in to get her on your turn.

EDIT: if you like mixed tanks, I recommend dragons. They're not in that link because you don't need to sac a Hector for them thanks to lightning breath. They're generally amazing with breath skills and aether (or ignis/glacies, if you prefer massive firepower). You also get to choose between +spd to block doubles (but bold fighter becomes an issue) or -spd just to tank ridiculously hard. Since you already have Oboro, maybe Fae? A.Tiki can be a mixed tank but her speciality is having 45+ def.
