Best Bait Unit?

Grima(M), Effie, Gwendolyn, Sheena, Nowi, Tiki(A), any tanky unit in both stats,( or one stat, such as Deirdre and Arden for example)

Winter tharja would definitely be up there.
Swordhart would also be really good.
And you add in the ones that the guy above me listed.

Vanguard Ike, Black Knight, Fjorm can also be a bait unit.

i have to really recommend adult Tiki due to her easy availability. i currently have a +8 big tiki on my main team and she can even tank multiple hits from falchion. Fae is also pretty fantastic and pretty easy to get a bunch of, though she is more magic baiting oriented.

Brave Ike is AMAZING, as he takes no damage from any attack that hits more then once in a row. You can get him from the Cooldown Bonuses banner.

NOWI hands down. There is a reason she has been at the top of the blue charts for some time now. I have built a bunch of strong bait units and Nowi beats them all. Easy to obtain, easy to merge. Aether, steady breath, and quick riposte are a must and if built right, she can even live through a death blow alm. On a side note, copy and paste the same build on Fjorm for less damage but no weaknesses to falchion and legendary effect to boot.

A properly built Seliph is actually a surprisingly good unit for baiting, much in the same respects that his dad is, except Seliph can use infantry-only skills like Steady Breath and Infantry Pulse (as well as now being available quite readily as a 3* unit).

Divine Tyrfing+Deflect Magic seal lets him bait any mage lacking swordbreaker with ease (if they have swordbreaker be wary as this can often lead the mage to proc either multiple short cooldown specials or a long-cooldown special, which is generally what takes him down).

His naturally high HP and solid Def lets him also bait physical threats, although be careful around units who can quadruple attack him, like Brave Bow/Lance users, since these bring out the same issues with Swordbreaker mages.
