My saizo has a great bane (res) but a meh boon (hp).
Any dagger unit that you want to use as a debuffer that isn't Jaffar since his Deathly Dagger is just all around better.
Most of the non-legendary daggers are on a level playing field in terms of raw power, they just have vastly different functions and goals when used. So your Smoke Dagger isn't best on any particular dagger hero, it's best on which ever one you want to use as a debuffer.
Depends on meta.
Against armor emblem with distant counter, except tharja, you should use smoke dagger on tank-like dagger users, like Saizo and Matthew.
Against mages, everything with high res and respectable spd, like Felicia.
Its all about who you are against.
In FE Heroes there inst an perfect character, every build has its weakness, through player s phase or enemy s phase, during combat, as initiating or as wainting...
For better results, than a common character can longer, make synergy with others heroes.
I agree about not using Jaffar for it, and also definitely not using Kagero, as her attack is the highest of the dagger users, and Poison Dagger is best suited for her. But I do think that Saizo is actually best for Smoke Dagger.
I have an excellent Saizo that currently has Smoke Dagger+ (+Def). He works excellently as a debuffer since he has such high defense anyways. The skills I have on him are Steady Breath 3, Poison Strike 3, Savage Blow 3, and Attack Smoke 3 as the seal. I spent a LOT of time and effort in making him, and he's an invaluable debuffer on my main team.
The other that works well with the Smoke Dagger is Jakob, but Saizo is best for debuffing in my opinion.
