The beast unit you want the most in Heroes?

If beasts are ever added to the game, there are so many to choose from. Even though everyone's choices may be obvious, I want to know the number 1 beast you want in Heroes. They need to get in, I want to see what everyone's choice is.
My pick is Selkie
I love her so much, and if she ever gets in Heroes I feel like she's going to be pretty top tier. She's the number 1 most wanted beast unit for the game, I believe. So they have to do her justice. I think she'd boast high res and speed like in Fates, with good attack and low defense. With Beastbane as either a B skill or built into her stone. Basically perfect for DC and mage checking, with some perfect anti-horse abilities. And get Konfuzi Kokon, Fuzichoco, Tobi, or Amagaitaro on her art. With Sarah Blandy for her voice, but if they brought back her original VA from Fates that'd be cool too.

The only beast unit I want is a beast Morgan.... but that'll most likely never happen, so probably Yarne or Keaton. :P

I’m not too concerned beast units, but I would be happy to see Nailah.

Lyre, Lethe, or Ranulf are probably my tops. Would like to see any laguz really. I really want Kurthnaga, but I feel he could be implemented the same as any of the dragons already in the game.

Naesala is objectively the best beast unit. I hope that eventually, I'm sure way down the line, we can see him grace us, most likely as a GHB.

That said, can someone explain this to me. Selkie is literally one of the worst written characters in the franchise. Is this a fetish thing or what? No judgement, you do you, but I legitimately cannot understand the obsession with her so many people have.

You like the characters you like and other people like the characters they like. Just because someone likes a character in Fates doesn't mean they have a fetish with them, lol.

I didn't say it was, brother. Though, to deny it seems just as criminal. I was simply asking why.

I can understand being curious, but to go straight into "Is this a fetish thing or what" from point blank is about as odd, if not more so, than people just liking her for the sake of her being cute (which is one of the main reasons Soleil is liked so much, might I add).

Well, by way of admittance from the only person liking her in this thread, I was right on the nose, so regardless of if you found it odd or offensive or whatever, it was, within this group, accurate, and probably so on a large scale, too.

I like Selkie, too, but not as much as Yarne or Keaton (hence why they were the only two Beast units in my post).

Not saying you were rude or anything, there are a lot of people who are furries and like the beast characters in the Fire Emblem franchise, just pointing out that it was a bit odd that that was the very first thing you asked about just because someone liked her, even if she is "literally" one of the worst written characters in FEH.

Cause she's cute. And cute Fire Emblem characters are pretty popular. Yeah she's not all that, not like some actually pretty well written Fates characters like Nyx or Charlotte, but she's cute, likeable, and a good unit. That's enough to pass her for me and many other people.
Nothing fetish-like about it. Yeah, some people are furrys, me included, and im sure that does play a lot in liking her. Hell, that goes for liking any of the beast units in FE. But I'm sure most people like her because, again, she's cute and sweet. Not being a good character doesn't mean you can't have a likeable personality.

Well, I'm not going to dive into the debate of Fates, but I find it very odd that because someone is cute, you'd rather see them over characters of substance and importance. But, you know, whatever.

To admit you're a furry, and that it plays a part in why you like her, and then use primarily that as your reasoning and NOT call it fetish is hilarious. That's exactly what it is. And that's cool! And at least, on some level, makes sense to me. But don't lie about it. You can piss on my face, just don't tell me it's raining!

Not to actually make an attack, Silkie is childish, selfish, boring, and defined by her gimmick. I find that fact you like that far more concerning than you liking her because she's a fox.

I married Yarne in awakening and Keaton in fates so I would like to see them. As for other beast units I think we'll see them soon just not as a beast unit probably as some seasonal unit.

Someone with some sense! Though, we have to ingore the whole Blood Pact bullshit, because that hurts his character development A LOT.

I would say my top 5 would be from radiant dawn and path of radiance.

5. Leanne
It would be cool to get another "dancer, singer" unit in the form of a laguz.
And as an introduction banner for the units I feel it would be a good variety although a cat unit would also be thrown in as well. Anyways that's who I would want.

Selkie is the main one for me. The main reasoning is she's cute and a fun character, she's happy and friendly. What's not to like? Concerning the posts above about the clear hatred Daily has for her and all those who like her, characters don't need to be complex to be likable, and if she was a normal human, she'd still be fun and innocent, which for me means she's likable.
