barrier blade or safeguard for laegjarn?

i don't know if to give safeguard or barried blade to my laegjarn i know the extra def safeguard give to laegjarn is good but i don't want to kill of my lene after all she have good ivs and a optimal build and also like her as a character. after all the silvia i got have bad ivs and i dont have any skills to give her, also her barrier blade could patch up laegjarn low res.

Her res is beyond gone, I'd rather keep her prf weapon for higher scoring and better against ingame content because of their inflated stats
For enemy phase tank the answer is barrier blade, but again why not keep her prf or give her slaying edge

If you like he lene you’ve got, keep her, be patient, and wait for the next one to fodder off. Surely you’ll get another. I’ve had her break my rates several times already.

Most units get two simultaneous buffs like from dual rallies, which provide +3 to two stats. That's a total of 6. Niu basically gets half of that to all of Laegjarn's stats. I wouldn't pass this up. And if the enemy is using tactics buff, you could be looking at anywhere between +6 to +12. So instead of just buffing her res, why not let her other stats benefit with the same value and keep her prf weapon?
