Ayra Vs Karla Vs Brave Celica?
Answers
I mean this Mia could swap in Flashing Blade seal and still have 52/48 offenses on initiation with +10 special from Resolute Blade and in Desperation range against most units that's 2 attacks with the second being a +10 moonbow. Is she better than the other 3? No but it's sad how she's kinda become forgotten now. Also she's my personal favorite character in FE so I'd use her above the other 3 any day.

If you really wanted to have her Special go off every attack, you can but it won’t be no Regnal Astra. I’ve had her setup with so many different iterations including Slaying Edge/QP seal, Moonbow/Glimmer/Luna, Infantry Pulse support etc etc till she reached her final form....not needing to activate a special right away and she performs beautifully.

Idk, Mia's my favorite character so I tried building her as good as possible. She's also one of 2 characters I've foddered Swift Sparrow to so far (she got it from an extra SF!Nino). The other is a +7 L'Arachel with Blarblade (she got it from an extra Katarina).
But I like how solid this build has been for me! Mia's still a really good unit imo, my personal biases aside. After all Resolute Blade add +10 to special while also giving +3 str and she has the same base 40 at neutral speed as Karla just without the superboon unfortunately.

I would personally put Brave Celica last because although she is strong in player phase, she requires healing support to maximize her offensive potential and doesn't have any real benefits in enemy phase (she is DB4 fodder though, so that does make her a competitor for best fodder, I'd say). Between Ayra and Karla, well, it's tough, as I feel like they're just so darn similar. Ayra's better at running a DC set as she has better defenses, but Karla's unique Vassal's Blade easily triumphs over Ayra's Blade and makes her a threat to even the slowest and tankiest in the meta. Overall, I would probably place Ayra as first, but ONLY if you're willing to give in heavy investment (DC, Slaying Edge, Even Spd Wave). With minimal investment (Desperation, Flashing Blade seal), Karla takes the cake. Those are my thoughts in a nutshell lol

I think with minimum investment, Karla gets much more damage with her blade, especially with speed boon. Also her speed is insane. She fast. Like REALLY fast. I think there isn’t a single unit in the game unmerged and unboosted she cant double honestly. But putting the standard Ayra build on Ayra makes her deal ridiculous damage with that special. Celica, if the renewal seal comes out, will probably dare say trump both Karla and Ayra with guaranteed Quads on unit’s slower than her and a great weapon. For now I rank them Ayra, Karla, Celica.

Ayra probably has the best Mixed Phase and nuking potential of the three. Her best set, composing of Slaying Edge+ + Distant Counter + Wrath, along with her good physical bulk, allows her to reach Wrath's range in the first hit she tanks, fire back a boosted Regnal Astra, and (more often then not) hit a second time. Once in Wrath range (or if she gets Infantry Pulse / Quickened Pulse support), she'll be able to fire off 2 Regnal Astra in a round of combat on Player Phase, which quite capable of taking out even the bulkiest of Blue units in the game.
Karla can perform a similar role to Ayra despite not carrying Regnal Astra. Her default weapon, Vassal's Blade, grants more damage the faster she is compared to her enemy, capping out at +7 when she has 10 more effective Spd than whatever she's facing. With Wrath, she'll be getting +17 extra damage against a lot of units whenever she procs a Special, which has the potential to out-damage even a Wrath-boosted Regnal Astra depending on Karla's Special, and she'll be able to double more units than Ayra can because of her higher Spd. However, she is much frailer than Ayra and more likely to be one-shot by a strong physical hit, so she can't run Distant Counter as well. (Both--and Celica--are pretty screwed if a Blue Mage looks at them funny.)
Brave Celica has the best Player Phase of those three because of her unique Double Lion skill. With a Firesweep Sword+, she has the potential to safely quad most units in the game or double speed demons like Karla and Wary Fighter units, most likely killing them with the help of Death Blow 4. However, Celica has a worse Enemy Phase than both of them because she lacks the reliable burst damage that the other two have, and she needs to have some form of Healing support to continue making use of her Double Lion after her first round of combat.

Everyone here is praising Arya, so I’ll play devils advocate.
Personally I prefer Karla. Her +14 damage from her sword on a double is insane, and I think that since it says ‘increases damage delt’ it ignores colors.
She can easily activate her special every attack just like Ayra, with wrath and her sword, thats 34 extra damage (ignoring colors). Meaning she would only need to do 3-5 extra damage normally or from her special to kill most units in the game.
With her high attack and large amount of extra lethal damage, it’s very likely for her to OHKO most units when in low health. So having her get low isn’t a concern.
Overall I use Karla for most things. She is great attacking and retaliating. Since she will never get doubled naturally, she can survive many rounds of combat.
One instance that rings in in my mind is when I had my Karla attack a +10 merge fully built Nowi and come out victorious.
Some people here say to give your Ayra even speed wave, I say don’t. It’s a waste of a insane unit.
Her art is worse than Arya’s though, but they both have amazing art.

RinCore... I got pity broken with new Karla and Ayra both having +Spd -Res during Brave Celica sniping. For Karla how did you take down Nowi? I like to go Player Phase mode mostly and I cringe at getting engaged on enemy phase. "Im like dont kill me". Hahaha I know both are gonna die to their low Res stat. :( Thanks.
