Attention team Lyn! Stop scoring!

We finally hit a bad swing of the advantage/disadvantage pendulum of bonus multipliers and at the current rate and total scores around 6 billion, we will never get a return swing multiplier against Camilla if we keep scoring normally before the end of the round.

Unless we all stop battling for points completely for the next few hours then I am afraid that the sheer total scores and the 10% value of them will become too massive to beat out at any point beyond this one!!

So team Lyn you guys gatta stop playing so we can get back on top!! For our perfect shared waifu's sake!!!!

I've been through every voting gauntlet we've had so far and I'm familiar enough with the mechanics and math enough to know that if we don't manufacture our own disadvantage multiplier then we will lose and I refuse to let the OG waifu of fire emblem lose to a character who is obviously only popular due to sexualization of her top heavy design!!

Disclaimer: I've yet to get a hold on conquest so I'm not 100% on Camilla's personality outside the game here but we all know her appearance is still the reason for a lot of her support regardless.

Just imagine Tharja's personality, then take out everything that isn't obsessing over the avatar and then multiply her obsession over you by 1000%. That is pretty much her entire character.

Camilla is the the most vanilla "older sister" anime archetype you can imagine, except she also has giant cleavage and wears a bondage outfit. She's awful.

Of course that said, I don't get any of the Lyn hype so I'm just in this for the feathers. I would have been on team Lucina, but my "Marth" didn't count as a Lucina unit. :(

It's a combination of. Nostalgia, being the first American game and the female lead from it as well as the story of her chapter of being the daughter of the runaway princess while her uncle poisons her grandfather and sends assassins after her to ursurp the throne 'legally' like a scumbag and such. That and the lack of Lyn being bodacious leads to her popularity being more based on those as well as her character/personality itself instead is why she's better than the cliche army of 'booby waifus'

Makes sense.

Mind you a lot of people like Lucina for similar reasons of being female lead/not sexed up to oblivion (although the joke my friend and I have that everyone secretly wants to hook up with Marth), but she wins every one of these contests so her losing one is fine.

Yea Lucina is cool too and she also gets a hype boost thanks to smash bros too. Lyn appears only as a trophy summon which always made me sad but Lucina and Camilla both won voting gauntlets before they can't be allowed a second win!

As ideal as this is, Prisoner's Dilemma will unfortunately always enforce people to not stop... It's as you said, people will ALWAYS battle for points, because if "everyone" stops then one smart arse will decide "hey, I can get a better intra-team score if I continue now", which naturally means EVERYONE (or at least a substantial number) will continue to not let any one person get the jump.

We've got 35 hours remaining and a good majority, hopefully we can grind this around before then.

It's worth an attempt because at the gap of a few hundred MILLION points then even Lyns higher fan base of non multiplied scoring won't be able to shore up the gap I don't even care about my inter team score since I actually went to sleep before the reset (unless you share an account with a friend it's unrealistic to score best always at all times).

But it's not like me doing nothing will help the situation either....
