I'm aware that the general idea of the Brave Bow build is to quad strike, but also hit as hard as possible, yet it oddly doesn't just say speed only. Attack is also considered a valid stat to boost even though the 3 speed lost would cause her to lose agood number of relevant quad targets (even with the +1 speed seal since hone speed 3 was needed after that and +spd to quad all unbuffed units)
I have managed to get a +atk cordelia but not spd yet. I do still have some orbs but I'm wondering how important it would be to go for the spd boosted cordelia instead or if I should just give my +atk one the firesweep bow instead
I think the idea if you get a + atk one is to ko within the first two hits rather than rely on quad. Really not a lot stands up to her anyway.
Mine has the firesweep bow and she's been great during the tempest. Really useful for chipping things i can't one hit or killing high res things nino can't kill.
Also with firesweep she's bee useful for annoying quests like kill a lv40 zeph with my crappy zeph. You can chip him down easy and then one hit with zeph.
What players just a bit forget why normal Cordelia was strong because of actually her spd (both same stats 35atk 35spd).
If you have a +spd nature you have a higher chance that you do not get follow up attacks. with 33spd and just one spd buff means 37spd possible and with that you have achieve to stop most follow ups on you and can survive most of the fights thx to it. Seems now why just now go +atk and death blow for max dmg what is actually not a good idea because of spd lack still life and death protect here actually your life.
Just to clear it is not going to mean for quad is for your own protection you can not always dance move out with Drag Back just as example.
Short said atk max dmg spd max protection give you bonus on quad sometimes.
Short point to Firesweep bow+. I would always go for +spd the simple reason is it is important to have follow up for max dmg. With normal spd you can reach 45spd(life and death spd buff +1spd seal) what can still be blocked from 41 spd enemy.
And with that you can actually say if you have +atk prefer Brave Bow and +spd prefer Firesweep Bow but still both can be runned for everything.
Attack boon is better, why people keep saying +spd for brave bow. With attack boon and LnD, B.Cordelia has 50 attack and 35 speed, almost all unites she can't kill in the first 2 hit will be outsped by her. If you are go for firesweep bow, attack is the goal since you want to finish unite in these two free hits.
