Would putting Fortress Res on Dierdre be worth it with these IVs?
Why...would you want to further reduce her attack stat? She already has 35 res which is 3rd highest in the game, surpassed only by Wrys and Halloween Henry. She really has no reason to have any higher res and you don't want to make her do even less damage. In fact, at 31 Spd, and Spd Ploy triggering almost always, she's 'technically' a speed of 36 right now. Giving her Fury would make her a Spd 39 against favorable baits really.
Perhaps, but realistically, endurance modes aside, how many times do you need a mage tank in the same map? It's usually only once, sometimes twice. But the Distand Def seal would add 2-6 to her Def/Res on the tanking which is 41 for res and hat's an average of 10 damage per hit at the average of 50 power from Green mages and blues are of little concern for her.
Also the atk penalty for Fortess Res almost negates the extra damage you'd get from running Glacies and it outpaces the extra for Iceberg, both while reducing her normal damage as well. You' be better off just using Res +3 instead if you didn't just have regular Distant Def to inherit.
