While it will cost a bit, Quick Riposte 3 is alternative to Beorc Blessing. It will allow Ike to build Aether faster or launch out two Bonfires if he get hit with a follow up. No need to change Steady Stance though.
I vouch for this build (though I have QR2 and Panic Ploy 3 instead). This build is definitely one of his best and has been carrying me through tier 20 arena.
I've been having success in Tier 20 with this build. Honestly, B!Ike is excellent with his base kit. I like DC both for arena weight and to one shot those pesky Reinhardts on enemy phase.
