-Atk pity Zelgius

Hey guys,
Zelgius decided to spook me on my way to get a +3 S!Tana, unfortunately he's -Atk and I don't really use nor enjoy Armor Emblem anyway. I would have invested in him had he had perfect IVs, but currently it's not looking so great.
Will his first kit be enough to make him useful? Can fierce stance negate his bane or should I fodder it to someone else?
Thanks in advance

There are other units that can use fierce stance, but you're probably best just to accept his base kit. He still hits quite hard, especially with fierce stance, and with just a little team support he's not easy to double. You'll like him if you toy with armours sometime. (Have you tried it with armour march?) Also, panic ploy can seriously screw up some emblem teams when you encounter them in AA.

Fierce Stance will add +6 to atk, so yes. And there's also Black Luna which makes enemy defenses irrelevant with an 80% reduction. And his Warp Powder skill gives him some extra mobility for mixed emblem teams.

So, yes, his kit will make him a valuable addition to any team you have that needs a tanky distant counter red unit.

The point about warp powder is very good. I find that he works very well with horses in the first few turns because he can warp for 3 movement, which keeps him in perfect pace with horses

I've found that his stance is able to negate the bane, you just have to have him be more of an enemy phase unit.

Hope this helped!

This is what i did with my -Atk/+Def Zelgius.
Even wit - ATK he still has 33 Base, and depending on the boon you can do some weid stuff with him.
If you already have invested heaviely in a Black Knight, you best use a build to differentiate them, you dont really need 2 Units doing the same.
