-atk +def Sonia...
Salvageable or not?
Desperation and brash assalt seal could be her medicine? Or she could be a niche against archers with raven tome?(similar to dancer Inigo)

You can build around her special, one regular hit and a Dark Excalibur-boosted Moonbow will plow through everything Sonya should be trying to fight.
Fury gives her bonus speed and resistance, which helps her trigger Spd Ploy and boosts her to an effective 39 unbuffed speed. The recoil from Fury will help you trigger Desperation, and with the Flashing Blade seal, she'll still be able to fire off a Moonbow every round. Draw Back can be replaced with whatever you want.

I realize that 34 speed even with Spd Ploy is on the low end, but if she's got buffs it seems like the right way to go. Maybe you could switch that out for a speed seal. That could get her to double more, at the cost of her ability to bust through high resistance targets.
The best alternative I can think of is maybe a defensive set with Quick Riposte and Distant Defense.

As Sonya user i dissagree that she is "offencive" unit, what i think is wrong. She exceels at baiting blues and green mages, -atk is sad but her damage comes from special mostly, not her atk stat.
The build recommended here is fine but i would do few changes, first QR for b slot since spd ploy wont be much of help here and res ploy for c slot to increase damage output. For seal slot another ploy can be used for supportive purpousess, she cant ploy all stats, two only but she has more res than Arvis to proc them when he cant.
And i think your Sonya will be fine.
PS i found out that my Sonya is -atk +res.
