Atk Def Bond on Exalted Chrom?

I would not do that. Fjorm is great for Scoring so I'd merge her for arena if you're into that.

What I would do for Chrom though, is a brazen kit. This kit is relatively cheap.

Brazen Atk/Def is from a 4 star Ares
Brash Assault or Vantage is easy to find (Multiple sources)
Odd Def Wave is from a 5 star Silas (he's in the 4 star pool) or any other skill you want (Not going to mention it because not everyone will use it)
Brazen Atk/Res is our S Seal from the last TT if I recall.

This boosts his res bulk by a fair bit, and I mean alot.

His weapon boosts all his stats by 5 upon taking 1 damage, Brazen Atk/Def raises the respective skills by 7, and so does brazen atk/res.

+19 Atk, +5 Spd, +12 def, +12 res
This is extremely good, but could be further boosted by
a cavalry team/Tactics team, or any large scale team buffs.

Cav team would be (Tactics is the same)
+25 atk, +11 spd, +18 def, +18 res

His stat total would be a whopping (with cav buffs)
41 HP/78 Atk/39 Spd/ 52 Def/ 35 Res
