Askr trio refinement

We will finally get weapon refines for the askr trio, but for character that can't get merges or IVs i expected something better.

Alfonse
His refine changes the base effect of the weapon into brazen atk/def 3 which is great, but the added effect is just TA.....i guess i'll refine for more atk, i'll give him brazen atk /def in A and with desperation+brash assaut i'll watch him destroy eve blues.

Sharena
The effect on her weapon nullifies enemies buffs, which i think is better than having threaten atk 2, and the refine will give her spd/def bond. Between the 3 she has the best added effect out of the 3 of the trio.

Anna
The hp treshold becomes <50% and the added effect is that she can teleport near allies between 2 spaces if her hp is >=50%.
It may be fun to use but it won't resolve the problem of her having low atk, also from the new banner Libra us the one who will most likely be demoted, and his weapon is what Anna needs.

What are your opinions on the new refinement? Do you think that they were good enought or they could have done more?

I don't really see them as competitive so I think Anna got the best refine because it's the most fun. And I think Sharena and Alfonse both got decent ones too.

They are all good refines but the units using them are all underwhelming so I won't be refining any of them. The only one I used at all was Anna who gets the worst added effect for me, never liked the effect, used Summer Camilla in TT with Flier Formation and I used it literally twice in 4 days.

It's nice IS tried but they needed to do more to make the three viable.

Alfonse is pretty nuts now as a bonus arena unit....

I'll probably be running something like this when i 5 star him....

Special or Attack Refine
Ignis/Bonfire
Brazen Atk/Def (yep double it)
Swordbreaker or Wrath if you had a a bunch of Nephs
Attack Smoke (massive swing when combined with double brazen)
Close Defense Seal or Brash Assault

As a arena bonus unit that's 71 Attack with double brazen active and attack refine, 56 defense when attacked by sword/axe/lance...

You could use Wrath combined with Ignis to take out blues as long as you don't special refine... 50 defense +10 special damage Ignis is gonna hurt like hell.

Also I hear that Walmart has Chill Def so that's another option to add to the B-slot for Godfonse.

If he was a bonus unit next rotation and his refine was active I'll have no prob dropping my summoner supported Soleil for him. He'll put in work.
