Asking if an arena score is good enough

I know these questions are super common and probably getting old, but I'm in rank 19 for the first time and my first 7 chain was deathless. I'm running cavalry emblem though so I know they have a relatively low score ceiling. Does anyone know if 4796 is going to suffice to reach 20?

If I remember correctly people asking his are usually told it's closer to just over 4800 points for the cut off. It is based on a percentage of all scores in tier so it fluctuates a little based on how many players are in the tier each week I believe but I think the last time it cut off was like 4810? Or something like that.

Due to the lower BST for horses they actually will give you a harder time trying to stay or enter tier 20 which is likely the only real flaw to high end horse teams. Of course heavy merging bypasses this but it's not feasible for most players that aren't P2W

Yeah I know why they wont work, but until I finished building the Cavalry team I was back and forth between 17 and 18. Getting brave Lyn on it got me up to nineteen and deathless in it. Even if they aren't enough to get into 20 I might as well stick to them to at least move up to bouncing between 18 and 19 until I can draw Amelia or Hector and build a legitimate armor emblem.

You dont really need an armor emblem to get into tier 20 tough.
You will have to avoid mages and dancers, have a team of fully inherited skills, use as many legendary weapons and rank 3 specials as you can, but its possible.

The cutoff last week was actually unusually high (I bounce between tiers 19 and 20). I *barely* got in (was around 9200 of the 9500 who got in) with 4816. It's probably because everyone has a bonus unit thanks to the Brave Hero freebies.

So while 4796 normally has a chance to make it, I would say you'll need at least 4810ish to have a chance based on last week (with the same bonus units being in effect).

You're probably a little short. I needed around 4808-4812 to get in for a long while. Now I'm shooting for 4890ish to stay in tier 20 for the first time. Merges help a lot, as well as running mixed cavalry and infantry/armor. I run Brave Lyn+2, Camus+1, Ryoma+1, and Hector, and have a Distant Def 1 seal on Hector and Fortify Res on Ryoma so Hector can tank Reinhardts. Also, Brave Lyn runs the Attack Play 1 seal extremely well to lower Rein's potency over Hector. A trick I've been using recently is to be picky about which battles you accept. If you surrender before picking the difficulty of battle you want, it won't reset your score, so you can just wait until you get the 486's or 488's you're looking for, instead of having a few random 480s or 482s tank your score beneath the line.
