ARGH, NEVER TAKE HIATUSES

I mean, obviously do, if you're burnt out on the game it's the healthy choice to make. Which is why I took a few weeks off from FEH not too long ago. It was while the last Tempest Trials was going on, as well as Saias's GHB. At the time I didn't think it would be a big deal, because GHBs always come back eventually, sacred seals always show up in the forge eventually, and I found Finn underwhelming.

NOW I'M BACK AND I'M SO MAD AT WHAT I MISSED OUT ON. I am a huge fan of Arvis, but sometimes the fact that he's red makes him hard to fit into team comps. I could have had a blue Arvis, I'm so annoyed at myself! And there was a Drive Attack seal??? No fair, I don't want to have to sacrifice a Fjorm just to buff Bridal Tharja! And I know, I'll get these things eventually, but I'm sad that I didn't get them sooner while I had the chance.

Anyone else miss out on anything that made them really grumpy about it afterward?

Nope. Other than everything in the TT before Black Knight.

I had to take a forced Hiatus (hurricane took down the interwebs near the house, so that was a problem) back during the autumn of last year. I missed out on the Black Knight, Panic Ploy, and all that came with it. Still wish I'd gotten that (and that the internet would have come back sooner)

Ouch, that sucks. I really hope they bring Black Knight back one day, even though he got powercrept by Zelgius he's still one of the best TT rewards we've gotten.

Haha, I was hedging my bets in case I was forgetting someone, but I think you're right. Looking back at the TT units I have and actually use, I think it's just BK, Arden, NY Corrin, and Masked Marth. Of those, the only one who comes close to BK's level of usefulness is Masked Marth, but she required a lot more investment and is sadly a lot less meta these days.

You forgot about Batman! He's in that group as well(the good TT units)

Haha, took me a second to figure it who you meant, but yeah, he's pretty good, I just tend to forget about him because I usually use his mom instead lol.

Well, I don't have a merged Cherche, so he tends to get used at times, with either a Offensive Brave Axe or Defensive Slaying Axe.

yeah i did. I dont remember when i started heroes but one of my first 5* was Rienhardt so i guess it was when his banner appeared. I'm sad i was afraid of TT when i first saw that mode (for whatever reason), it was Joshua's TT btw, i would like to have him. The saddest part is i never got Black knight as TT reward so i'm realy sad about that at the moment, since i dont want to buy starter pack.

I didn't start playing until after Camus came out so there was a long stretch of time I wished I had Camus before we eventually got his GHB to come back.

Also I find Arvis easier to fit into teams for me than I would with Saias who I haven't built yet because of it. But I also have 5* Tailtiu, Micaiah, Linde, and now Ishtar as blue infantry mage he'd have to compete with a spot for meanwhile Arvis's competition for red infantry mage is 5* Lilina and Sanaki, and maybe eventually M!Morgan if I ever promote him. Always interesting though seeing different perspectives on who finds more or less use out of certain units with roles like Arvis and Saias.

Oh, gosh, Camus. I took close to a month's break from this game at the beginning of last summer because I was busy playing Shadows of Valentia instead, which meant I missed the original Bridal banner, the first-ever TT, and Camus's GHB, just to name a few. Like you, I was really frustrated that it took so long for them to bring him back. Funny thing was, by the time they finally did I had gotten used to not having him and I was feeling lazy, so it took me forever to go actually get him. I finally got him...literally last week. ;)

As for Arvis vs Saias, I actually agree with you for the most part, Saias has a lot stiffer competition than Arvis does. Although other than Reinhardt and S!Corrin, who aren't infantry, I don't have most of the OP blue mages, so I think it would be less of an issue for me. I'd probably still find myself using Arvis more often even if I did have Saias, but I found a specific situation where I very much wished I had Saias. My standard arena team for a while has been Arvis, Fjorm, Nino, and Olivia, with Fjorm swapped out if I need a different bonus unit, and sometimes Olivia is swapped for Azura if I need to re-balance the colors. Well, after I took my hiatus the arena changes had just gone through, and I was using Ryoma as my bonus unit that week, and since three reds on a team is ridiculous, I'd swapped Olivia for Azura. Well, my Olivia is highly merged and Azura isn't, so with the changes to scoring I was having a really hard time getting to the tier I wanted with my slightly lower-scoring units. If I could have swapped Arvis for Saias I could've kept Olivia, and it wouldn't have been an issue.

Yeah original I had plans to eventually build Saias because I do like the utility Arvis can provide. But then I got Micaiah on the last legendary banner, Linde off the Fates banner, and Ishtar from the Genealogy banner so I think I'm set with blue infantry mages for a while.

Yeah, I can't blame you there. Personally I still don't have Linde, Micaiah, Ishtar, Delthea, or Lute, and I've yet to pull a Tailtiu or even a Mae with good IVs, so I'm sitting here thinking, man, I really wish I had gone for Saias. At this rate I'm going to be forced to build Odin lol.

I took a long break and missed out on a crap ton of stuff. I've been slowly building back up thanks to the B8 banners/Legendary Banners: Gunnthra, Exalt Chrom, Tome Erika, Michaiah, Fallen Celica/Hardin, Fallen M Robin/Grima, Legendary Ephraim. That's the list I missed and made up since my 2 month hiatus. I'm still waiting for reruns of the New Year and Love Abides sets.

I keep waiting for the reruns of GHBs I missed (Oliver, F Takumi, Lyon) and I'm hoping there will be TT reruns of the units I missed too (seasonal Corrin, Eliwood, Marisa). But yeah, gotta be patient I guess, though the wait for LA Hector's rerun is driving me batty! XDD @[email protected]

Just hang in there, cause the next GHB makes a new set of 7! So maybe we won't have to wait too long for them to be added to the daily cycles? X3

I took hiatus just after the first spring banner because of my new job. After settling in my new role, I came back to the game around Christmas time. Unfortunately, I forgot my password and Nox wasn't working anymore. So I just started a new one on my new phone and re rolled until I got New Year Camilla. Missed a lot, lost quite a bit. I've recovered but still missing sword Lyn that I had before. Still looking for her.
