So Ares has a new special to play with his DC Vantage set, if I am not mistaken that it's inheritable. 25 damage when adjacent to an ally already outclasses Draconic Aura without any investment in Atk. And a bonus, a high scoring special

Too bad I only use Ares for Brazen Atk/Def fodder. :c

For score it's great, but Ares will have some trouble activating it for 25 damage.

That's only when he's flying solo...though I suppose that's part of the reason people go DC + Vantage.

Usually you want him to be able to go out and attack. Even with DC.

Really the more I think about it, the more blue flame seems to be not that OP.
Sure, you need 40 def/res with ignis or glacies to beat blue flame. But blue flame deals heavy damage only when used right.
