Arena scoring points become stricter?

On the last week I noticed my arena score becomes much harsher (from 730 to 710). I team consists of PA!Azura +10, Reinhardt +10, New Eirika +10 and Alm no merge but refined falchion. My horse Eirika even got aether.
Anyone is on the same line? Any suggestion to get a better score?

Alm is probably killing your score. Were you running a merged bonus unit before?

Also, cavalry/mages score lower in arena. If you have any other high merge units that aren’t in those categories, I’d say run them.

Yeah, they changed the scoring last week.
Cavalry and mages tend to get lower scores, so you could score better by replacing Reinhardt and Eirika with other units. Units with high base stats get more points, so you may consider putting in some armored units or dragons.

A dancer/singer and two cavalry mages can only give you so much score, even if +10. You should try not using dancers/singers nor ranged units, especially cavalry. Ranged armored units would probably be fine if necessary.

Are you using blessings? Those increase your score by a fair amount if you have them on all your units.

There has been some discussion about arena scores dropping but it seems to have affected everyone. Better question - has it affected your finishing position in the tier? ie did you drop lower than usual?

I noticed a small drop in points but my overall finishing position was the same.

I wouldn’t have a clue as to the affect on my positioning. I swapped out my team last week. But had I kept them and the score I had (4906), I may have been on the line between T20 advancing and dropping to T18, whereas I usually have a several thousand rank cushion.

But swapping them increased my score by over 100 points, and I was in the top 1200 for moving to T20.
