Arena defense scoring?

I haven't really been keeping up with current meta at all, so I may have missed an update saying how defenses are tallied. Right now I have a defense team of W!Robin, W!Tharja, Linus, and P!Inigo. Linus is a bonus character for the season, but I've got two successful defenses but they're both under 300, whereas last season I got some that were over 600. Why?

You need to have at least one bonus unit to double your score. (Judging from what you have posted, you don't have one on your Defense team.)

My bad, I didn't remember if Linus is a bonus until you posted the picture.

That being said, did you make sure that the team you have set as the Defense team (it should have a shield icon next to it) is the same team that you have in the picture?

The only other thing that I can think of is that you gotten a few wins before you changed the team, as vgmaster02 said down below, and might be mis-remembering whether or not you got any wins before changing the team.

Give it until the end of the season. Hopefully, at least one more person challenges your team and loses. If the score does double, then it is the above case. If you find that you are still scoring in the 300's range, then it might be a bug, though I am not experiencing this problem at all.

I'll keep a look out, but I'm quite certain that I made the change when I remembered I did, since it was the fact that I didn't get any defenses that made me put Linus in, and before him, I had Sharena who was also a bonus unit. If my score goes up later, I'll look like a total fool though, haha.

That’s bonus units, babe! You can only get the most defense rewards if there’s a bonus unit on ur defense team

Did you have Linus on your team at the start of the season? You probably got defense wins before you added Linus, hence why they're only 300 instead of 600. Trust me, I've had that too. I've gotten a defense win before I even began my offensive run, so my defense score was half of what it should've been because I somehow got a successful defense before I could even swap out the bonus unit.

No, I didn't have any defenses before today, and I swapped him in last night. I initially had Sharena in, but she wasn't panning out so I did some grinding with him and got him properly raised.
